Used 2008 Toyota Highlander Consumer Reviews
The best of the best
Excellent vehicle all around. I have the sport model and love the looks of it, and it handles great. Toyota has really outdone themselves w/the highlander. The only negative things I have to say about it is that I don't care for the headlights when switched to brights but dims work great and head rests are just a little to far forward.
Toyota Quality!!
My wife and I just picked up our 2008 Highlander Limited last week (the first day they arrived). We've owned 2 Lexus and a Toyota 4Runner and love the Toyota brand. In fact, we found out about the new Highlander while I was buying my 2007 Tacoma earlier this month. This SUV is absolutely the best SUV we've owned and we've had a Hummer H2, Lexus RX 330 and Toyota 4Runner. It drives like a dream the new design is outstanding.

Now this is what I call style
I have had my Toyota for under 30 days, I had been looking for a smaller SUV for over a year and had test drove everything from the Cadillac SRX to the Acura MDX, and at the end I finally narrowed down my options to the Toyota Highlander. The Highlander without a doubt has proven to not only be a more spacious vehicle, the new body style is awesome, looks almost like the 08 Lexus LX570. It has a sound ride not to mention how many mpg I get in the city (15-17) and (18-19) on the freeway. My kids absolutely love it and I love the fact that the 1st oil change isn't until 5000 miles.
2008 first impression
What a change from my 05. Lots more leg room, gas mileage seems about the same, and POWER - the new v6 is awesome. Very smooth and quiet ride compared to old model. Steering is very light but a little slower - not the same feel as the 05. It is a bigger, taller auto but not as large as it looks.
Love my Toyota
I traded in my 2005 Volvo XC90 for the 08 Highlander and this was the best decision I have made in a long time. The Highlander has many "extras" and is much roomier than the Volvo. I can actually stretch my legs in the 2nd row!
