Great mileage - Multimedia Pop-Up annoying
I bought the LE version of this car and have very few complaints about it. The gas mileage is awesome, yet has far more horsepower than my old 2008 which I traded in. My only issue is the recurring purple Multimedia screen that keeps popping up that says Navigation Reimagined. Sometimes it does not go away and I cannot get back to my maps screen. To fix, I have to pull over and shut off the car and restart it. This is quite annoying. I don't know how to turn off this pop-up screen. If anyone knows, please comment on this issue. Thanks!

Worst vehicle I have ever owned.
I purchased a new 2024 Corolla LE in July of 2024. Car had minor irritating things like body panels that weren’t completely flush together and rattle noises during accelerating. What really irritated me was having to bring it in at roughly 3,000 miles to have a faulty CV axle replaced. 3 out of the 4 windows were sloppy and loose in the track. (Only the driver side was tight) I changed the oil at half the recommended interval. So at 5,000 I changed it and caught a sample of it when I dropped the old oil is was so dark no light would pass through it. I’ve never had a new car or even used car have this dark of oil during a change. Supposedly the full synthetic should be good for 10k but I have to question that. Seats in the car are very uncomfortable for trips longer than an hour. The engine made weird sounds that I was not use to hearing on a previous 2022 Corolla I owned. (Traded the 22 when the transmission started leaking and hesitating during highway driving almost like pulsing and that was at 6k) I really thought I just got a lemon on the 2022 so foolishly I bought a 2024. The transmission is very sluggish and noisy on the 2024. Ended up trading the 2024 Corolla for a completely different make. Honestly I doubt I will ever buy another Toyota.

Underwhelming and clunky 2023
It's a cute car, but that's about all. The CVT transmission is super clunky on take off and it lurches and jerks like an untamed burro. It makes for a miserable ride at times. I have taken it back to the dealership several times and they tell me it's normal. If that's normal, I won't be buying another Toyota, which is sad because that's all I've driven since the late 90's. Power? Nope. I am leaving, you, Toyota, you dissappoint me. UPDATE: This is a cute little car and all, but I’ve had a bad experience with shaking and thudding noise in the front wheels while driving. I’ve also had a bad experience with an overly clunky transmission which causes the car to jerk, clunk, and just plain be a miserable ride. I went through months of trying to get Toyota to do something about it but they keep telling me it’s normal behavior. I find it hard to believe that is normal. I’ve found numerous other complaints about this. I do not recommend this vehicle.

Big problems
I have a horrible clunking noise every time I hit the brakes while reversing. Also there is sometimes a similar noise when exiting the car and I am quite thin. The car gets phenomenal highway mileage but gets the gas mileage of a v6 in the city which I've read others report here. I go easy on my car as well and go easy on the throttle. I don't know if the tuned the cvt poorly so that you need to give more throttle to get the car to accelerate or that maybe it needs to break in. Time will tell..

Loud, Underpowered, Unsafe
I had a 2023 Toyota Corolla LE with 12,300 miles on it for 3 weeks. The car is loud. Really loud. The steering wheel is thin and had slippery plastic. The seats are flat and lack support. The “cheapness” of the car is visible everywhere. From hard plastics and thin sharp metal used everywhere from the fuel filler door to the trunk. The stock base sound system is terrible and due to the noise useless. Thank goodness for Apple CarPlay support as the screen is bad and getting to a radio station takes many steps. It is shocking that Toyota skips skips safety features like dimming mirrors and heated exterior mirrors.
