Flawless
After having a 93 Corolla with 220,000 miles we happily purchased a 2010 S Corolla despite their current PR problem. We werent really in the market for a new car, but the financing incentive caused us to stand up and take notice. After reading the reviews, we did pay special attention to the steering during test drives and was unable to re-create the problem. In fact, we quite like the steering which seems perfectly weighted in all circumstances, if not over assisted when parking.
Beautiful and Well Built
This car is completely reliable, good looking, and gets great gas mileage.

I had to buy it
I brought 2010 corolla after my wife wrecked her 1997 corolla, so I gave her my 2007 corolla and brought the 2010. I had to buy it even though I like the 2007 corolla. While the corollas are not peppy at all, 2010 has some pep as long as the AC is off. It is a very smooth quiet ride, but you do hear the bumps when you ride over them, unlike the 2007 corolla. I have the LE model and it came nicely loaded with cruise, TRAC control, and power everything. At high speeds it drives really well. It is nice they added MP3 player and a AUX jack. It is a little wider than previous corollas which makes it more comfortable.
Great Car
Just bought my second Toyota Corolla. After reading prior reviews, I am convinced some people are opposing dealers or amateur drivers who cannot drive this fantastic car. The steering is great! Went 2 miles on the interstate with my hands off the wheel, the Corolla stayed in a perfect line until the next curve. People were probably texting, then blaming the car for their poor steering.I think the interior is great, no lint on the seats. The interior is no different then other cars in its class as far as materials! Step on the gas and the car goes! I passed muscle cars on the highway! Gas mileage around 35 mpg so far. Know the car, before you buy it! Love the S model.
Corolla S 2009
I purchased my S in Aug. 2008 and put 25,250 trouble free miles never went back to the dealer except for the recalls which I felt was nothing wrong with the car except for those who want to complain about Toyota I have owned Toyota's since 1973 haven't had a bad one yet. I just three weeks ago traded my S for a 2010 XRS because I wanted a few more options and got one of the last ones in my area same color black I also love this car I am now retired and milage is not I problem so those who love Hondas and Mazdas go buyone and have your troubles with them.
