The Spartan of the economy cars.
This is not a sports car, nor is it a luxury car. It's a compact car that happens to be fun to drive and efficent. If your buying this car to race it your buying the wrong car. If your expecting this to ride like a caddy, your likely to be disappointed. If your buying the car to commute to work, and pickup the groceries this is a great car. It is predictable, it manuevers well, it is easy on gas, and it isn't likely to break down. This car will doesn't depreciate as quickly as the rest of the competition. It's not as flashy as some of the others either. The corolla is a spartan car. It does the job well, my last corolla had 340K and still didn't miss a beat.
So far so good
I bought my certified 2010 Corolla about 2 months ago with 36000 miles on it.This was defiantly not my first choice when searching for a new car but it was in my price range and I thought it was cute so I went ahead. I drive 80 miles round trip to work every day and so far it's been great. However I do have a few complaints. The seats are not comfortable at all! They also collect lint like another review said. The interior is really boring in my opinion and it is really hard to see the clock. Overall it is cute and fun but I wish I had waited and found something better

Great mileage so far.....
OK. I am the biggest conservative driver that I know. I really keep the rpms down. I have been watching the computer and average miles per gallon. My general rural commute and riding around town so far I have averaged......... 37-38 mpgs!!!!!! I said "aw shucks" when I saw the new Elantra come out with it's 40 mpgs, but with the lifetime drivetrain warranty and 0% financing on my Corolla I still think I made right decision.
A Truly Wonderful Car
I absolutely love this car. I can't believe some of the comments on here saying anything but positive things. I have driven many cars in my life and this car is very impressive to me especially for the price. It handles like a dream, gets great gas mileage and is extremely quiet. I find it very smooth and with enough power even with the auto transmission and roomy enough for 4 adults. Trunk space is good and the seats fold down. I love the steering on this and don't have any issues with that as some others have said. It's a power assisted system which is common on most of today's cars especially luxury cars like Lexus. Great car for highway driving also. All around quality choice.
Not your average Toy-ota
Owned car since 2010, 110k miles, just maintenace items and no other repairs needed. Good on gas and handling. This is my 2nd Corolla, my 1st was a 2004 and just as trustworthy.
