Long Lasting Toyota
I purchased a 1990 Toyota Camry LE Wagon in 1990. I just sold it and it was the best car I ever had. No trouble no crashes nothing. I drive to New York and back everyday and it never gave up on me. When I finally sold it, it had 240,000 miles on it. It was sad to let it go but I bought a new car.
Fabulous Reliability
Bought my 1990 Camry DX station Wagon brand new in 1990. Here it is now just starting 2010, and the Camry is going stronger than ever. A couple gripes. Rust around the wheel wells. Also rust-through at the lower front panels just before the front doors due to wet leaves getting in there, which over the years I never noticed until too late. In addition, there's some bluish smoke from the exhaust when starting up in the morning. I'm told this is because the engine seals dry up over time and oil leaks slightly into the cylinders. But absolutely no loss of oil and never have to top up, so not a big deal.

V6 Camry Smooth as Silk
I found a V6 Camry that was faithfully maintained by the previous owner and couldn't be happier with my purchase. With over 160K miles it still feels like a new car. No sports car handling, but smooth quiet and completely reliable. Driving this car it is easy to forget how old it is.
Reliability and low maintaince
My car has 242,000 miles and it still runs great. It has some minor quirks, but overall this is a fantastic car. I forsee it running for another 50,000 miles with regular maintaince. By the way, it has NEVER broke down on me.
great hand-me-down
my mom gave me this car in 97, with 110k on it. since then only minor work has been needed to be done. I now have 207k on it, i need to replace the front axles and bearings($600), and i just replaced the break pads a few months ago. This car has really held up over the years...i definately put it through hell. i'll be sad to see it go.
