I traded in a 2003 Camry LE when I bought this 2017 Camry Hybrid XLE. It has a harsher ride than the 20003. I have been having problems the last 3 years when putting the car from Park to Drive or to Reverse and putting on the brakes. It makes a loud burping sound. and it has been getting worse. Two years ago Toyota Dealership finally reconginized the problem. They say air bubbles has been getting in the braking system. At the time the car was under warranty. They said Toyota would not replace part causing the problem but to drain the fluid and replace fluid. If the problem started up again Toyota would replace the part. The problem started up 6 months later, ask again while still under warranty to fix problem. They (Dealership) kept getting put off or they gave some other reason for the problem. Now they say it is natural sound for braking. Got a letter from Toyota about a year ago that the blizzard white paint can go bad on the car. Start having cracks in the driver leather set. The person that will be repairing the driver seat said it was probably due to poor manufacturing of the material. The car has 31,300 miles (average 7,600 miles per year) since being bought in 2017. Factory tires are worn down already. Toyota cars have really gone down in quality build and customer service. I keep track of the expenses of the Toyota cars I have bought. The dealership I have dealt with in buying Toyota's and having the Toyota's serviced there has been over $110,000 cash. I am in the market now to replace a 2010 Rav4 Limited AWD (51,000 miles) and the 2017 Camry Hybrid (31,300 miles). It will not be Toyota's. Toyota seems not to want to back up cars under warranty (in my case) and really bad customer service.

Buying a Toyota Camry Hybrid is more costly up front; however, it is well worth the investment! You get a high quality vehicle that drives exceptionally well & you save a bundle of money on gas. I get an average of 35 mpg around town & 45 mpg on the highway!

Yes, the trunk is smaller because it's a hybrid. My former Prius had more trunk space because it was a hatchback, but this is because of the hybrid which I believe in, so I adjusted.

Super great car. I’m getting 46mpg and 670 miles on a tank at time of writing which is insane considering it’s not the new Camry that gets 50+mpg. I had a 2012 Camry as my first car and having the 17 is like a dream for me. Easy steering, responsive braking, acceleration is there if you really need it, and I’m all about saving fuel because it means $$$$ saved. Toyota’s that are taken care of can go forever and this one is no exception. This car will last as long as the battery does. Not every hybrid can say that.
