Used 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Worth the extra money
Beautiful, practical, roomy and comfortable car. It states the gas mileage is 36-40 mpg. I average 31. I don't feel I accelerate to quickly so I am not sure why it doesn't get better. Also, the interior material on the dash directly in front of the shifter rubs and makes an annoying noise. I am going to take it in and see what they can do.
Great Car
I have never owned a Toyota, so this is my first experience. The quality of this car is very impressive more than any other car I have owned. You can feel the paint on the car and can tell it has many layers of paint. The quality inside is very good. The air conditioning cools quickly and the sound system is robust. The tire pressure gauge system really works. One of my tires lost four pounds and the light on the dash came on, checked the tires and sure enought one tire was leaking so it was caught before it went flat. The keyless entry system is great, just push a button. Has controllable rear air for the back seat passengers. Car is the most quiet car I have ever owned.

A hybrid may not be for you
Does everything well but nothing outstanding. WARNING: does not enter electric mode on short trips (< 1.5 miles) or over 40 mph even when the battery is charged and the engine is warmed up. Typical toyota quality and reliability which is better than most other cars. The SE with the V6 and 6 speed would be a lot more fun to drive, but would not get as high gas mileage.
TCH has great package
My wife and I have both been very impressed with the Camry Hybrid. It drives very smoothly, the car feels very solid, and we do not feel cramped at all (I'm 6'3", and she's 5'10"). Tons of leg room. Plenty of features - we were considering going for more options, but the base car is quite loaded and feels futuristic. Mileage has been excellent, but not quite the 40/38 advertised. We've enjoyed driving it so much that we each want to drive it, and we think of reasons to go out in it. We speed less in it, as we enjoy our time inside and don't want to waste gas. This is an impressive car with a great design and sharp looks.
Love it!
I bought this car almost sight-unseen and with no test drive. I haven't regretted the decision even once. Traded in a '98 4cyl Camry XLE and the 2007 Camry Hybrid is quite a bit larger, rides smoother and is more powerful. Plenty of pickup when needed, such as entering freeway. I have 3200+ miles on it and have had zero problems. Yes, the trunk is smaller than a non-hybrid Camry but I knew that prior to purchase and it's plenty big for me.
