Used 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Great Car!
Just picked up our new Camry Hybrid in Chicago and drove it back to our home in Florida without a single hiccup. VERY comfortable road car, rides and sounds solid like a luxury sedan. We got 39.5 mpg driving down at 65-75 on interstate highways and are getting 40.5 mpg puttering around town at home (with 1100 miles now on the ODO). I'm an electronics engineer and did quite a bit of research before ordering it. The hybrid drive is an extremely complex and well designed system. My wife is very happy with "her" hybrid and that's what counts most. Our only option was the moonroof. I already have a Garmin Nuvi 350 nav unit that we switch between cars so we didn't order the Nav.
Great cruiser.
To and from work, to and from work. This is what I bought this vehicle for. I wanted comfort, convenience, advanced tech (MP3, iPod port, etc), better mileage. I got them all in this car. I had a Lexus ES. I prefer this vehicle. This will be our touring car as well. I've gotten over 40 MPG on flat freeways and 35-37 MPG on my daily route because there are a lot of hills. I consider this excellent! I've had it for about a month and I think it's well worth every penny.

Happy owner in Texas
I really like this car and it's the nicest car I've ever owned. It's very comfortable and very quiet and I can really relax in it. Excellent sound system too. Of course one of the main reasons I bought it was that it is a hybrid. A little over a year ago my wife and I passed a gas station sign (in our conventional Toyotas at the time) and the price of gas had headed well over $3.00 and we looked at each other and decided to look at hybrids. I ended up buying the Camry hybrid and she bought a Prius. Boy are we glad that we bought the cars with gas hovering around $4.00/gallon now!! We plan to keep the cars for as long as possible and we believe that in the end it will save us money.
Simple to operate, fun to drive!
Be assured that the Camry Hybrid is simple to operate, don't worry about getting used to it. Once you own one of these (or the Prius), you will not want to go back to a non-hybrid. They use twice the fuel and are not going to have the resale of a hybrid. I love the door opener and combined with the starter button, what could be better? Recently, I had to rent a car and the only one that was available was a Chevrolet. It's an OK car, but I am glad the trip is over, so I can get back behind the wheel of my Camry Hybrid. At times, I rent cars for long trips so I don't pile up so many miles on my Camry. Long story short, get a demo, buy one, start saving gas money!!
Going green
Getting better mileage than expected: 32 city/39-41 highway; very comfortable. Also have a G35 Sedan, which has a much more intuitive voice command system for making calls, etc. This car performs better than expected. Easy to keep battery charge full by using 'B' to slow car on decelleration.
