Used 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Consumer Reviews
50th Anniversary Edition
Just retired and wanted a full size car with excellent mileage. Camry hybrid is the definitive. Chose the 50th anniversary edition because we wanted something unique. It also had all the features we were looking for such as GPS, leather ans extra sound reduction. 1st 1,000 miles MPG averaged 34 MPG... 33 in town and 39 highway. 35 MPG overall is very reasonable. There are several features available to help you learn to maximise MPG and I find the consumption screen most helpful. Using this screen you quickly visualize your driving habits and what is needed for MPG improvement. We have had many prople stop us in parking lots to ask about the hybrid features and comment on the car.
First Hybrid
Only have had the car a week now but so far its been great. Averaging 38.5 mpg so far - no problem areas either. Electronics are fun but will take a while to figure out. The blue tooth phone setup was a snap and my razr v3 connected with no issues.

Good buy
This is a really solid car. I consistently get 37 mpg and have had no problems with it so far. The interior finishes are a little spotty for a Toyota (seat material mars easily, hard plastics scratch easily, a couple of small rattles). Plenty of power. Overall, Toyota did a nice job.
My Camie
The Camry Hybrid is still amazing me. Today I was able to pin the trip computer at 40 mpg on a 5 mile trip. I was able to coast and pulse for about 4 minutes. Still on my first tank with 400 miles and a 1/4 tank left. The computer says I have 105 miles to empty. The JBL stereo is great. It can hold my hold music library of 1200 mp3's on 6 cds. I'm good for 60 hour road trip. I like the high drivers seating position. It's so quiet its freaky. I had to make a quick T entrance on to a 2 lane country road and was surprise with the acceleration. All-in all I couldn't be more pleased.
engineering marvel
The first thousand miles have been positive. Drives well, about 40 mpg, quiet, adequate power for any situation, engineering is a marvel, and the most important feature, it is a small contribution to solving our global warming problems. Only the ideologically moribund can deny it is happening, and it seems to me that each of us must do what we can to reduce our carbon use and carbon dioxide residues.
