Used 2003 Toyota 4Runner Consumer Reviews
Toyota 4runner - Best SUV for 2003
Great SUV...Toyota does it again! Improved power, ride, handling, comfort and styling. Smooth, pwerful and resposive V-8 with silky smooth 5spd automatic transmission. Controls are great. Picked the Limited for full time 4wd, power and smoothness (alos didn't like SR5 or Sport gray platic body cladding).
4th Generation Evolution Hit
Handling on mountain roads exceptional for a 2 ton SUV. Steering response good. Transmission flawlessly smooth. Cargo area small but still OK. Blind spot when changing lanes(smaller 3rd window). Headlights are much improved. Projector fogs work well. Extra room inside is great. Ride much improved, especially body roll. V8 with plenty of power/torque right off the line and pulls strong throughout power band. Computer overestimates mileage. Brakes feel like overboosted but stops quickly w/4wheel disc brakes. Body design much more aero than prior models. Interior instrumentation a negative. All in all an advancement and the cladding will have to grow on you.

The Best 4Runner Ever
This is my 3rd Toyota. This in my opinnion is the best one yet. Lots of Power from the V8. The old 4Runner was a bit lethargic in comparison. Smooth shifting 5-Speed Automatic transmission and quiet at a mouse at 70 MPH. Bravo, Once again Toyota has come up with a real gem.

A winner
Great truck. Typical Toyota quality. The V8 4wd w/ X-REAS really flys and handles extreemly well. A nice ride on road and performs well off road. Edmunds review gives a thumbs down to the breaks... I disagee, it breaks very well and I'm used to driving a sports car.
