My first toyota ever
I was looking for a all terrain vehicle and seen a 1995 toyota 4runner sr5 v6 3.0L 10 minutes away from my home in fair condition with 174xxx miles at the time. It was just posted on the "offer up " app a few hours ago and linked the look, style, and mileage. Not so much the price. $3,000 asking and kelly blue book had it valued at $1,500-$2,500 after driving it and seeing no obvious problems. I offered the owner $2,500 cash or i would have to pass on the SUV. I have owned it going on 8 months now and had no problems. A window tint and compound buff job did wonders for its appearance. After doing some research, older toyota 4runners are notorious for having electrical and engine problems. I get 15 miles per gallon of gas and it won't make the drive up step hills. It's more of a flat land vehicle for rugged terrain. I only bought this for summer travel and might resale once summer is over. Dont want the break down problems because it wouldn't be worth fixing

Great Value
The best thing about this SUV is that it combines the best aspects of a sedan and a truck. Quiet ride. Stylish exterior. But also rugged, and very reliable. Zero mechanical problems.

Great Car!!
Continuously runs great and very reliable, somewhat noisy fan belt, but no questions askedv - runs wonderful, STILL!
4 Runner
This vehicle has surpassed all my expections!
Solid design
This is a durable vehicle with plenty of interior space for the average user. It has the famous Toyota reliability, but unfortunately not the efficiency Toyota is also known for. I average 16 mpg, but with a tailwind you can get 20 mpg on the highway. Power is adequate with the V6/5spd, but I would be concerned about any other engine/transmission combination for this vehicle. I purchased it with 93,000 miles and have put another 30,000 on it and the only problem I have had is with the power tailgate window.
