2024 Outback things I don't like
I bought a new Outback Limited XT in July and have a few complaints. The Harmon Kardon sound system is pathetic. The outside wind noise in the cab is extensive. I took it in and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. When you have to turn the radio up loud when driving 60mph because of the wind noise that's not normal. The display console is a terrible design. It is a dust and spot magnet always dirty and needing cleaning. The backup camera screen is too tiny to see easily. There is an annoying message on the entire console screen every time you start the car to tell you to drive safely that stays on until you put the care in Drive. The dash controls for the rear hatch and the USB ports are almost inaccessible. Some moron designed them under a ledge on the dash that blocks the driver's view of these items. They put the USB ports in this tiny cubby hole in the console that you can barely get your hand in. Terrible design. The console storage box is too tiny. The car rides nice and is comfortable but the interior dash design is not user friendly. I thought I was buying a premium vehicle and I would not buy this car again and will be trading it in after 2 years.

2024 Outback Limited
Seat height is lower than a small SUV (obviously it's a station wagon). Even at all of 5'9 and 180lbs the seat feels alot tighter then I expected. I have the base engine and the performance is extremely bad. It's functional but I've driven other new small SUV vehicles that are a lot better. Unfortunately the power in the 2.5 boxer is just non-existent. Pay extra for the turbo if you want to drive a car that has adequate acceleration.

Low Key
I chose this car previously having a full size pickup truck and a small EV following. I wanted similar capabilities to a pickup but sitting position of a sedan. This car checks those boxes, all while sporting great fuel economy! I have yet to drive this in any snow- however, I’ve hauled concrete blocks, traveled across the Midwest, even ran down to the grocery and this car can just do it. Is it the prettiest set of wheels on the road? No- but it’s one of the most comfortable I’ve owned!
Great medium size SUV
Smooth ride, great handling. Good fuel economy for a 4 wheel drive. Very good in snowy condition.

Amazing car
Just leased a 2024 Subaru Outback...what an amazing vehicle loaded with so many comfort and safety features. Comfortable, quiet and very easy to drive...loved the pleasant interaction with the sales part of the dealership as well as the fantastic employees in service. This is my 2nd Subaru and I am very very pleased with the vehicle...Highly recommended dealership and vehicle.
