Got My Outback @ Ourisman
Got the Outback Onyx edition and the exterior is sporty. The interior large screen is amazing and can be turned off when not needed. It's not too hard learning how things function. The ride is great. Love my sunroof. The only negative is when turning the steering wheel hard, when it reaches its max, it's a bit of a jolt. Looking forward to years of driving fun.
Almost perfect!
We were looking for something that's not an SUV, but provides good capability during adverse weather, while also having usable interior storage. All those needs were met by this wagon/crossover. The exterior does not have a lot of bling and is not trying too hard to be different, and we liked that. Interior is very very functional, intuitive, easy to use, and most of all looks rugged. And that's much appreciate since we need to take our two dogs with us for all our road trips. The 2.4L performs very well, and I think is the better option between the two offered - the 2.5L felt sluggish during our test drives. The CVT, however, is not that great. Given all the good features the car had, we decided the compromise was worth it. The cargo area is very usable - it may not be the biggest, but in an SUV I had to stack things to fit stuff, whereas here since the floor space is larger, it's much more easier to pack things. The 11.6" infotainment screen is impressive to see, but not the best to use. Things are not as snappy as other cars. Physical HVAC control, as well as some core vehicle settings (like AVH, Auto start/stop, X-mode, etc.) should have physical buttons. The front camera is very useful for me, given that the Outback does not have front parking sensors. The smart rear view mirror is also something I though would be needed, but now I'm using it I wish I had that in my other car as well. In summary, highly impressed with the car. Hopefully will last long.

Hard to believe a new car could have so many problems. From bad paint job to bucking under acceleration extra cost napa leather that’s defective backup alarm that wont go off plus 22mpg. Dealer can’t fix and corporate is not interested in helping
Subaru outback touring xt 2024
Own my Subaru Outback Touring TX from August 2024. Very lagging screen, need to wait a lot after car start, barely handle few clicks at once, so you need to be very patient with it. Some buttons go away when screen change. Like AVH. Couple of times my wife's iPhone was stopped been recognized by car. She has 12 pro. And simple car restart etc did not work. Hopefully we have a highest trim , so she used built in navigation to drive. I have problems with cabin lights. There are buttons for seat positions on the driver door. There are no lightings on them, and with cabin light on, you can not see them as well. Hard to use during night time. and general light inside is very bad. Driver storage is very limited. Door panel storage too. My family was at the mountains for a weekend. And had a very unpleasant experience in the morning. https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/anybody-encounter-numerous-dashboard-warnings-after-cold-weather-start.540795/ We had exactly same situation. Worst that I had to drive back for almost 5 hours from mountains in very bad driving conditions without any safety features turned on and with eliminated driver panel. Not something you expect from a new vehicle you bought specifically for outdoor activities. And for driving to mountains. Bellow 0 is not a something extremely rear when you go skiing and stay overnight. But I can not rely on my car anymore :(

Second time around
The outback handles extremely well. I feel totally in charge behind the wheel. I love the extra punch of acceleration due to the turbo addition to the XL engine, especially on the expressway.
