Used 2022 Subaru Outback Touring XT 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl Turbo CVT) Consumer Reviews
GPS is a waste of money
I’ve had the car for 7 months. GPS is worthless. Lacks any intuitiveness compared to the 2017 outback I traded. The electronics suck. Constantly beeping. You tilt your your head and it beeps at you to keep your eyes on road. Had dead battery issues. Faulty wiring harness. Jerky CVT. This is my third Outback and will probably be my last. Oh, the touch screen is a mess.

First time Subaru owner
I like my outback touring XT so far. I plan to keep my outback for long time. I had a 2007 Mercedes ML 500 for 15 years, with 260K+ miles. Therefore I need XT for the horse power. I figured it’s better to spend the same money for a reliable, low maintenance costs, fully loaded Japanese car rather than a base model of European car which requires lots of upgrades and high maintenance costs. I like outback requires regular gas. My gasoline expense cut half. I agree about the infotainment system is a bit slow but I figured I can’t compare it to iPad or my cellphone. I set up the way I like before I started driving. I seldom need to change the driving/vehicle setting while driving. I like to use CarPlay than navigation of the system.

Fantastic purchase!
I did a lot of research before going into getting a Subaru again. I owned a forester previously and loved it but was thinking it was time for an upgrade and to maybe try another make but as soon as I test drove the outback, I knew it was for me. This is a fantastic car and I absolutely love it!
