Used 2005 Subaru Legacy Sedan Consumer Reviews
Never again subaru
Loved my car but I got tired of throwing away so much money in parts and repairs, it's a strong horse but a real money pit is that why people buy them? I have never had a car with so much problems I will never own a Subaru ever again.

Durable but JUNKY
Doesn’t matter if it’s a GT or not. These cars become clunky oil burners the older they get. The glass rattles when you open the door. The interior creaks, squeaks, and randomly pops. You can’t install an aftermarket stereo unless you want to spend upwards of $600+ because the “engineers” at Subaru thought it’d be a great idea to make there system as difficult as possible to swap out. Since before I bought it the the infamous one headlight low beam shining brighter issue still remains unresolved due to again poor engineering. But on the on the bright side of all this the awd is fantastic even in deep water or snow and most of the components on the engine such as the alternator, power steering pump, and air filter are easily accessible. Btw good luck getting those spark plugs out or changing a head gasket. You’ll have to really love boxer motors to want to own one of these.
W hat a ride
This car has it all.It literally flies and is so smooth and quiet. The intrerior is very nice and the handling is very sharp, but the ride is still comfortable.Actually I think the price is very reasonable when you consider the awd and level of performance and refinement. Why get a 330xi or A4?The subaru has more performance at a better price.
Love it
I have had the car for three months and like it better than when I bought it.
