I love my Subaru
This is my second Subaru. I had a 2005 Outback that’s still running great, but it was time for a new car. My Impreza Sport is exactly what I wanted. It’s got plenty of room on the inside for my passengers and cargo space, yet sporty on the outside. Also has more safety features that I ever could imagine. It drives smooth, looks great, and I feel safer in a Subaru than any other car.

reliable, trouble free, but not a HWY Cruiser
I've had my Subaru as a company car brand new since may 2022 and have put 52000 miles. Pros: Has been trouble free from a mechanical standpoint. AWD very useful in the Tahoe region. Despite having crashed 3 times (My 1st year having to drive in the snow) the car has good bones, it still runs and drives like the first day I got it. Just cosmetic damage which was easy to have fixed. Lots of safety features STANDARD! Cons: The seats are not very comfortable for long journeys, even my coworkers who run the same car have the same complaint. Not very quick, you really have to smash the accelerator btw 4000-7000 rpm to overtake on the HWY. Myself and coworkers have lost all our hubcaps. We have occasionally lost the ability to use apple carplay (must be IOS update issue). The car does sit rather low to the ground compared to other AWD cars, its constantly scraping underneath going over speed bumps and entering business parking lots. Overall the Subaru Impreza is a no brainer for under $20,000 new. Not a single one in our company's fleet has left anyone stranded, Just make sure you keep up with the Maintenance (top off the radiator fluid every oil change), and you'll be rewarded with a dependability and safety.
