So far I love my Impreza
No one told me it would have a built-alarm system. That gave me a discount on my car insurance!

I desired a WRX, however reality dictated my pick
I traded my 2010 Forester XT for a 2018 Impreza Sport as my wife traded her 2009 Out Back for a 2018 Forester... I fell in love with the color Oasis Island Pearl/Black- For me all the gauges except the speedometer at too small, as are the pictograms which are also confusing to me. On the plus side the harmon audio system is wonderful, I do miss the 6 C/D player my Forester had... Around town this is a great car, on the highway Rte 128 (Boston area) it seems to drift slightly. The keyless entry is sort of neat, however there is not a really a convenient spot to place the keys nor is there a logical place for a pair of glasses regular or sun. This vehicle has way to many whistles & bells for me, for a more tech savvy consumer (i.e.: younger) it should be perfect. At 125 miles on my odometer, I am not sorry for this purchase. I really dislike the Sirius radio, AT 5300 miles the mpg is good, The front seats are not comfortable, and it dificult getting in and out.

The best and safest car I have ever owned!
I love this vehicle. Not only did it receive the IIHS top safety pick, but it saved mine and my sons life a little over a year ago. When we were hit after an SUV ran a red light, I walked away with minor bruising and my infant son completely unscathed. We might not have been here today if it hadn't been for my Subaru. My car was totaled, but we walked away safe and unharmed. I went out and bought another Subaru Impreza because my sons safety is so important to me. This is a great family car, with all the amenities you could want in a sedan while remaining affordable. It's gotten me where I needed to go, near or far, without problems. The exterior is sleek and modern, timeless and neat. It's a smooth ride which could use a little more of a pick me up as far as acceleration goes but it's really not an issue for me. I recommend this car to everyone I know. It's the best car I've ever owned based on it's safety, reliability and you can't beat the price. I will continue to purchase from Subaru in the future.

Fourth time is the charm!
This is my fourth Impreza. (My fifth Subaru) She handles like a race car, but is the safest car I have ever owned. I just love it. You will to.

I leased brand new for 3 years
The USB ports are worthless and cant charge a phone (I've noticed this in multiple different subaru makes, models and years). The Android Auto is a bigger pain than worth using. The touch screen is laggy, the volume knob is laggy. The air vents dont even have the simple wheel or switch to close an air vent making it incredibly uncomfortable when riding with someone who likes it warmer or cooler than yourself. The plastic hub caps easily fall off. My automatic window on driver's side is sticking. The digital gas gauge is unreliable. And my biggest hatred of all with this car was the rubber material the idiots chose to use in the cabin and dash. It's this weird tacky, sticky rubber that attracts so much dust and grime and is so hard and annoying to clean. Terrible decision to put this material on the inside of the car. I've owned a toyota Corolla, 2 honda civics and an accord and this was by far my least favorite car of all of them. They only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it was great in heavy snow.

Gas leaking issue
After fives days of purchasing my pre-owned 2108 Subaru Impreza from a local dealer, I won’t start. At first I thought it was the battery, but as soon as I popped the hood I could smell gasoline all over the engine. After trying to start it couple more times there were a significant amount of fuel leaking under the engine. It’s getting dark now, so I will contact the dealer tomorrow as soon as they open. Has anyone else had this type of issue with your Subaru?

Rust! On a 2018 Subaru Impreza with 25,000 miles!!
I made a major mistake. Bought a 2018 Subaru Imprezas sport. I was washing it and noticed it was rusting in the left rear wheel well 25,000 miles! Still under the bumper to bumper warranty! Submitted photo to Subaru had me get an estimate to fix it and then told me they would not cover it. Not we’ll work with you. Nothing! No one from Subaru ever actually physically looked at the car. Getting rid of it and will never buy another!
Hang on
Will be buying a new vehicle soon. Rented a '18 Impreza, first Subaru I have ever driven. I put 3K miles on it and never felt safe. The steering is God awful, passing semi's especially felt completely out of control. I have driven just about every kind of vehicle in the US, this vehicle is hands down the worst I have experienced. Obviously, I will not be looking at Subaru Impreza.

Sideview mirrors
Side mirrors dangerous, terrible blind spots. Mirrors are lined up with steering wheel, should be moved more towards the hood. Hopefully Subaru can do a recall for this issue, safety is there goal.

My car Sinatra
I'm reading some of these reviews and I'm baffled my cah is a beast. Drove to Florida and back with no problems. Great on gas and I even use it off roading. I have a aftermarket exhaust on her. Just hit 100000 miles on her.
