Subaru Impreza Hatchback Sedan 2012
Car was purchased new in 2012. I want to warm consumers that th body is of cheap quality. Just looking at it give it a "dent". The body it like tin foil. The worst is the car is built very low to the ground at 5.6". Small road "bumps" or driving up a steep hill damages under the bumper. Also underneath the front and back bumper damages when parking over curbs. The back wheel guard is even lower to the ground & "hook shape". My car caught on a low curb and bumper partially pulled off. My car is only 1y/o but the body is getting beaten. This is my 6th car and by far it has the worst quality body design.
Disappointed, so be careful
I bought this car new in the spring of 2013 and was super excited. It's been a great car until this year. I've taken very good care of it and am diligent about regular maintenance. I started having some trouble shifting in reverse (I have the manual 5-speed transmission). Then the key started getting stuck in the ignition and it wouldn't turn to start. Now, this week at only 41,000 miles, my air conditioning goes out and I need a new compressor and condensor, and new brakes of course, but it was time for that. Anyway, not happy have $2400 repair bill already at this low mileage. I want to love Subaru because they've had such a good reputation, but I must have gotten a lemon. I'm looking at new Mazdas now. Sheesh.

Great!
I really enjoy driving this car. It looks great and I like the features it has. This is my first car that has four wheel drive and it makes such a difference when driving during winter weather. It's amazing!
Bought it for the kid, But I kept it
I wish I had a few upgrades, but the best car ever. Noisy on the highway, but use it mostly around town 3 years later, never been to the dealer for repairs, getting my 30.5 mpg overall. The carpet and upholstery are hard to vacuum because there is short nap, but great car. Next year it goes to college. I have lost the car to my youngest. It is a very good vehicle. Now my other two Daughters now own Subarus.

Love my Subaru
This car is sporty. Very fuel efficient. I average 30 mpg. Very comfortable although it sits lower than some cars. Handles great. Cargo space is my only complaint but I didn't plan on a lot of excursions and outings when I purchased my Impreza.
