Best car ever
Purchased the Forester in March 2019. Dependability, style, safety and most of all accessibility for all passengers. I wish we had purchased a Subaru years ago.

Love My Forester!!
I currently own a 2019 Subaru Forester. This is my second Forester, I think I will probably own one until I no longer drive. It is roomy, visibility is fantastic, gas mileage is great - I average 34mpg; I live in a rural area. I am not much into the tech side as in the infotainment system. I do know Android Auto can be used for navigation; I have not used this. I am happy with my FM radio stations. My husband is a larger man & has no issues with getting in or out. As I said "I love my Forester!"

Love my Forester!
I absolutely love my 2019 Subaru Forester I bought. It is spacious and roomy but doesn’t feel like I’m driving a huge SUV. I discovered that you can buy a blow up mattress to actually put in the back to sleep on overnight. Can’t wait to try that!
Great Car
Pros: -Sight-lines - it is so easy to see around you when driving -Responsiveness - Steering is great -Entertainment system - responsive and intuitive -Size is great. Our other car is a mini-van (we are used to what seems like endless space), but for small/medium trips, it's fine for our family of 4. -Always feels comfortable -Suspension is phenomenal. My kids get less car sick in this vehicle, we don't feel road bumps as much. Cons: -Our front Wind-shield had a crack (due to a stone, no fault of Subaru) however a new wind-shield is >$1000 due to the Eyesight technology! Talk to your insurance company about including this in your coverage. -No garage door opener in Canada -GPS isn't great, I prefer the apps on my phone. -Default settings can't be changes without going to dealer. I'd like to make a few changes that require programming at dealer Issues we've had (all minor): -One side mirror became no longer controllable -One window down button broke

2019 Subaru Forester
My cars were hatchbacks since the 1980's. Most recently a 2013 Honda Fit. I did not realize the size difference between subcompact and compact. The Forester is a truck in comparison, but a civilized, comfortable truck. A lot of new electronics, and snowy road capability. I am looking forward to driving some Sierra forest roads this summer.

Better than the Rav4
Honestly, all I wanted was a new RAV4. After many test drives and trying to negotiate that ridiculous “market adjustment” down to just MSRP I was discouraged. Price Gouging and games is all they do over at Toyota. So glad Subaru is only trying to add value to the vehicles by adding actual items to the car. Side by side, I can’t believe I had not considered a Forester sooner. Visibility and Size make a world of difference. Especially when we plan on going over snow and sand.
Comfortable and reliable
Those is the best car I've ever owned. I drive 6-9 hrs a week for work and I couldn't ask for a more comfortable ride. I get great gas mileage for a larger vehicle (28-30 mpg) and have so much cargo space. I love Subaru's interface. The only thing I would change is where the emergency brake is. It's very easy to accidentally depress.

Still in love with Subaru!
We have been buying Subarus since 1982 and have found ours to be reliable, easy to maintain, either by us or through the dealership, and less expensive than other brands our family members have owned in maintainence costs.

I like everything about the Forester. It’s very roomy for the grandchildren in the backseat for my father-in-law and the front seat and also for my dog it’s a good family vehicle.

Disappointed in Subaru
I have been a loyal Subaru owner since 2010 when I bought my first brand new Forester. I loved it! Perfect size and price for me. At 63k miles the head cracked and it needed a new engine. The dealership had it covered under warranty and I paid the deductible. I sold that one at just over 100k miles. I didn't hesitate to buy another Forester. This couldn't happen again right? My 2019 with 66k miles just left me stranded 4 hours from home in another state. The code it threw was "catastrophic failure" or a spun rod bearing and an almost $10,000 bill. The dealership I brought it to was very helpful, however Subaru has been LESS than helpful. I love my Subarus but boy I sure am questioning their product and the fact they will not stand behind it even as they promote their vehicles last for generations.
2019 Subaru Forester Limited
Very high quality. Excellent fit and finish. Highly reliable after 65K miles. Only unusual failure was the two rear door speakers- bought new ones from Crutchfield and replaced myself. Absolutely awesome in snow. Fuel economy right on par with EPA estimates. Only criticism is road noise entering the cabin. If you've never owned a Subaru (this was our first) it is a little different and takes a short amount of time to get used to it. Highly recommend the brand and will be buying another new Subaru in the future.
