Used 2015 Subaru Forester Consumer Reviews
Dangerous on snowy roads
This is my second Subaru, bought the 2015 because my older one was very good in the snow. The 2015 feels like a death trap. The least little bit of snow on the roads and the car slides all over the road leaving no control even at 30 miles and hour. The car isn't safe at all in the winter. Seems Subaru isn't on top of the game when it comes to safety when it comes to the North East winters. Don't feel I should have to buy new tires for a new car just to keep from crashing. Shame on Subaru.
This is the most dangerous bluetooth around!
Update: "There is still no way out of this fiasco without either buying a new vehicle, or installing an updated version of an entertainment system to the tune of thousands of dollars. Took it to the dealer and they were still no help. Thought about a new Subaru, but why should I reward a company that has no compunction about selling a piece of crap system in the first pace? If they at least offered to install a new system, that would make all the difference in the world!" This vehicle is not a bad SUV, but there are some features that are so frustrating and aggravating that I have been severely tempted to get rid of it. The so-called phone feature is the worst on the market and should be a forced recall due to safety concerns. It takes 9 steps to insert a phone number by voice, and six by your phone. There is absolutely no way in which to download your contacts for use that does not include having to try it over and over. I have more than 350+ numbers in my phone and it is a daunting task. I have only managed to get 4 numbers in my cars memory so far, and that took over 7 hours and 4 different people trying to do it. You also cannot use the speed dial feature if you are moving! What the HELL kind of safety feature is that?! You have to dig on your phone and search for a name and it isn't easy. Not having this feature is bad, and a concern for me and others as to how UNSAFE this unit is.

Early warning to potential buyers.
Jan. 7, 2017 update -- We kept the Forester for about a year and then traded it in on a new 2016 Mazda CX-5, a far superior vehicle. For one thing, handicapped and ill people who need a seat cushion don't have to sit in the back seat.

suburu blue tooth a joke
not being able to pair my phone has really turned me off. it is to difficcult to manually put your numbers in. the salesman could not get one in. had more excuses and then said we had to have had gps for it to work correctly. suburu is way behind technology that has been arou nd for years. my last 4 cars had no problem pairing my phone. this is a neccessity for me i work in my car. when they sell the car they need to be specific npt when your picking it up.

Safety First
Great little SUV, good on gas and very reliable. Was looking at CX-5 and RAV 4 but decided to go with Forester because the best all wheel drive system.
