I've been a "Subaru" loyalist and booster since 1985. But I've never been as disappointed as I have been with this 2025 Subaru Cross trek. While I took a 2025 Cross Trek for a 30 minute test drive and there had been no hint of this vehicle "stumbling" and turning the engine off by itself while at a traffic light only to find it happening when I departed the dealership. As far as I am concerned, this would have been a "deal breaker" and shades of misleading/misrepresentation on the salesperson's part ... certainly unethical. "Orwellian 1984" ... ? While an environmental restriction apparently caused Subaru to impose this flaw; certainly other means could have used to meet the environmental standards required??? Gordo, Metro Vancouver, BC

The Wilderness Version seems like it will go anywhere. But I have a Corvette and a Jetta. BUT where the hell is the rear hatch release????? What were the engineers thinking???? I ASSUMED all cars had it, did not cross my mind to ask. I'm waiting on a Fix from Subaru.

The only thing I strongly hate about it is the gas filler is on the wrong side absolutely hate trying to fill up there is too much Teck for a 72 year old way to much tech

Sadly I am looking to trade in my 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Sport as I find the ride to be a bit too bumpy, including excessive side to side motion over bumps. I also get lower back pain from cloth sport seats. I love the exterior look of the vehicle and it has a great engine, but I need a bit more comfortable daily driver.

We sold out 2020 crosstrek premium in favor of a 2025 premium. Honestly I cant tell the difference in engine performance even though the 2025 comes with the 2.5. Its fine, just not that special. The car drives very nicely, just like the 2020 and feels very similar to the 2020 model. The new large screen is nice but you still have to pay $2K to get electric seat and blind side warning. Considering the price, that is a lot of money for an important safety feature. The bid disappointment is the poor quality of some of the interior features. The flooring is not really carpet, feels more like felt than carpet. The carpet floor mats are very thin and cheap; more poorer quality than the 2020. The seat cloth is not great either but the addition of lumbar support in the power seat is a great addition. All in all we like the Crosstrek but are very disappointed in some of the details.

I just love driving my new Crosstrek. It handles great and is just the right size for me. The technology is unbelievable. I like starting my car from phone so that it is toasty warm in the winter and nice and cool in the summer. I've had 3 other Subarus, but this one is the best!

Firstly the eye sight in window when it gets snow or frost it doesn't work,and when not working no cruise control. Secondly the windows always fog up in winter,heat is either to hot or not enough,the fan is so loud when heat is on high,you can't here your stereo,and it's weird because it's not throwing anymore air than my old matrix it just has to much noice. Thirdly on the base model you get four options with seat,wife is a shorty she likes it cause you can pump it up but for me it's either forcing me to sit arrect or I got to almost lay it down. Power is good for 2lt seeing how I am coming from 1.8 ltr. Gas tank is huge,drove 400 Klm on half tank decided to fill it and gauge was at half 50$.my matrix at empty was 50$. Guess that means way less fill ups.

It is fun to drive, quick off the line and very good gas mileage. It’s not the fastest car but it gets me where I want to go and I love driving it.

only have had it for a couple of weeks, so far like everything, my wife wished that we had gotten leather seats. have noticed there are a lot of subarus on the road.

This is the third time we have purchased a Crosstrek and the second time we purchased the Limited but this time it is the 34 so it comes with Navigation. Very happy with this car.
