Traded an HR-V for a Crosstrek

The Crosstrek is a better built SUV than the HR-V. Feels solid, quieter and handles 100% better. Awesome AWD best in the market. Best of all Made in Japan, Vin# begins with the letter J. After 6 weeks of owning the 2021 Crosstrek I regret not buying it earlier.

Excellent Value & Best AWD System

We've had our 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport for a week now. What a great little crossover! Comfortable, spunky, very capable off-road, tons of cargo space with the back seats folded down, great tech, and compelling styling combine to make a tremendous value. I got $2,800 off the sticker price and 1.9% APR financing. No brainer purchase. My wife loves it and it will be her daily driver. Looking forward to taking it on road trips. If you are looking for a small crossover with solid road manners and the ability to handle some light to moderate off-road work, then be sure to add this one to your test-drive list.

Just bought a 2021 Subaru crosstrek limited with the new 2.5 engine , of course cvt transmission , Most cars now are cvt transmission. Feels safe and performed well , living in Chicago AWD is a must., easy to drive got more power now a bump of 30 hp you can feel it , no slouch here , fun car , made in Japan fit and finish are tighter it’s like Japanese made quality car tolerances are more accurate, test drive it with AWD handling all four wheels always on.resale on this cars are very good too.

Little Big Man

We purchased a 2021 Limited and we find it to be excellently built with higher grade materials in the interior especially the seats and dash. It's quiet for a small SUV. The larger 2.5 engine makes a big difference in drivability compared to the meek 2.0. The Limited weighs 3600. The standard Legacy and Outback with the 2.5 weigh 3900 and 4100 respectively. The handling is not as sharp as the Mazda competitor, but when I installed the STI flexible strut bar...it made the Crosstrek handle serine on the curves with less inherent body roll due to it's 8.5 inch clearance. I did not drive the turbo Mazda though, it is a very good car with less room and outward visibility. So, get the strut brace and it makes the car handle much better and its ride is surprisingly controlled and compliant. The Limited Crosstrek has all the high performing eyesight safety technology like its larger sisters and brothers. Plenty of rear seat room and front seats are very comfortable. The seats are designed for smaller drivers, so try it on first. The outward visibility is first rate. I changed out the sock Falkens and mounted Continental LX25s because of the frequent weather changes where we live. The Conti tires improved the ride, handling on curves also, plus the tire noise is less. Tires are so important to the handling, ride and performance to a car. You don't put low rate running shoes on your feet and go for a long run!? Your feet will bark! This is a great value if your looking for a small SUV. Currently, the Crosstrek's reliability is the highest in the entire Subaru group and when compared to others it's very good except the Mazda has a little better rated reliability score. So, check the proximity of your dealers. Subaru is near us and Mazda happened to be twice as far away from us living close to nothing and not much else. Get the larger engine in the sport or better yet, the Limited model with the noise reduction front windshield. We are getting 35 mpg on the hwy. We live in eastern Oregon and drive many canyons in 4 season weather. It is the right car for this kind of country and us. Enjoy!
