WE BOUGHT OUR SCION IN 2003, ONE OF THE FIRST, FRESH OFF THE FREIGHTS. THE MINUTE WE SAT IN IT, WE KNEW THIS WAS THE VEHICLE FOR US. YOU EITHER HATE IT OR GOTTA LOVE IT....WE LOVE IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS VEHICLE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS ON A LIMITED BUDGET, BUT IN NEED OF A NEW VEHICLE. IT MAY LOOK SMALL ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT VERY ROOMY ON THE INSIDE.

When I had originally purchased my 2005 Scion xB, I was in dire need of a car that worked, and I was sick of fixing up my old junker. I needed a reliable car to get to work and back home. Thankfully, a good friend of mine had turned me onto the Scion xB. With it's spacious interior and daring new looks, it was more than just a car. It redefined what it meant to drive a car. The Scion xB is great in all aspects of a new car; great standard options, a roomy interior for friends and family, wonderful fuel economy, and a fresh new look, all starting just under $15,000. This car is truely wonderful, and I'm proud to say, "I drive a box."

I love this car. I've had it for two months now and I'm really glad I bought it. It's fun to drive and the room inside is just amazing - especially the head room. The gas mileage is just terrific. It's better than I expected. Would only change one thing - - this car needs a bit more engine power.

The first time that I laid my eyes on the Scion xB, I KNEW that I had to get one. With its unorthodox shape, for me, it was a sight to behold. Others may hate the "boxy" styling, but its roomy, gets great gas mileage, and IS fun to drive. I know its target audience is the younger crowd, but I've noticed a lot of mature folks driving xBs (including me). That says a lot!

I did not expect to buy this car; but after sitting in it and driving it, there was no turning back. It really reaches out to a younger generation with tons of standard features and still affordable. Even the options are not outrageous in price. Definitely the most fun vehicle out there.

I love this car. It is so much fun to drive. It hugs the turns and has a lot of pick up. I have the manual 5 speed and it is so cool. I also have a Ford F-150 and now I don't want to even drive it. The sound system is awesome also. I am doing a lot of highway driving and it gets great fuel economy. Also parking in the city is easy with its compact size. With the back seats down there is a ton of room in the rear of the vehicle. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

I have driven my Scion xB about 24,000 miles and it still feels like new. Great job Toyota! My gas milage is consistently around 33 mpg, however when crusing at around 75 mph it drops as low as 29 (It's difficult to push a brick through the air). My highest tankfull mpg was 38. Yes, I would buy another, it is practical, boxy, well designed, and well built.

I have only had this Scion Xb a week, so far I love it. Been debating on buying it for months, and finally did so I can save miles on my Yukon and save gas money. My kids love it, husband loves. People are impressed with the roomy interior. It is fun to drive. I love the 5 speed. Easy to park compared to my Yukon Xl.

This was my daughter's dream car and she only had 900 miles on it when she was murdered. It is now my office on wheels as l work in many places. l have tried to make it a tribute to her, the license plate is her screen name and her name Vanessa, means butterfly; it is covered in butterflies now. l get comments on the butterflies all the time, usually from women, however, even a guy gives a thumbs up now and then as he passes me driving his own xB. l would give the car up in a second along with anything else to have my baby back but feel a bit closer to her driving the car she wanted long before it became available in Florida.

I have been driving minivans for years. A few months ago, lost one because it was totaled. My wife was tired of mom-mobile and wanted something "cute." After reading a lot of reviews, we narrowed it down to used xB or a new Cube or Soul. I found a nice xB on Craigslist and bought it last week in Dallas, drove it home to Atlanta. First thing I love is the fuel mileage. In traffic, I got about 30MPG. Cruising at 70mph on highway, got 40MPG (240 miles/ 6.2 gals). Interior is roomy and comfy. Cool, or "cute" factor is incomparable. Yes, it is square shaped, and yes, wind noise is slightly louder than minivans-but, it is not bad.

Got my '05 XB late august. I always thought it was a pretty cool car since I saw a photo of it's Japanese version, the bB. I had a Jeep Wrangler TJ I used as my commuter. Gas mileage was killing me on my work commute of 80s miles a day. Since selling my jeep, I have no regrets at all. NONE! This is THE coolest looking, most fun car I've owned ever! I find myself driving it just fo the sake of driving. All at a fuel sipping 30+mpg. My 1st fill up was 9 gallons, or $15, amazing!

They have utilized the space very well and have made what appears to be a small vehicle from the outside into a spacious vehicle on the inside. I am 6'4 240 and I actually have loads of leg room and mor importantly - head room!

Yes I did say value three times. I have had my 2005 Scion XB for about a month now and I couldnt be any happier. I looked into the Honda Civic and I said to myself why do I have to have the same car everyone else is driving. My xb also came with every power option available and cost much less than a Civic EX. You also dont have to wonder witch civic is yours in the parking lot of the local supermarket. My Scion Xb has been a pleasure to drive and own. If you want and incredible value and the awsome reputation of Toyota look into the Scion Xb.

This car has been wonderful and fun to drive. It gets great gas mileage, is compact in a parking spot and especially garage. The interior is a tight squeeze with 5 adults (hip-wise), but has lots of leg room. Perfect for a 4-person family and hauling kids around. It is built well and does good on the highway.

I am having a lot of fun with my Scion xB. It is a very distinctive looking car and I get comments all the time. They are either love it or hate though it doesn't matter to me cause it's mine and I love it. The roominess is really unbelievable. I have a ggod friend and he is 6' 8" and had him and his wife with us one night to go out to dinner> I suggested I would drive and he said no way. Well once he got in he was very impressed with the room. Even commented that he had more head room that his pickup.

I like the looks of the car. mileage is not what they said it would be. I had a Rav4 and it had 171,000 miles on it and I had it for 6 years. It was more fun to drive but the mileage wasn't there. The average is 28 not much difference than the Rav4 and the ride is not nearly as fun. I guess the flip side is I drive slower now and I speeding is not a problem. It doesn't had the turning ability as the Rav4, it doesn't sit as high as the Rav4 did. The wind can be a problem.

My baby hummer is too cute. All that aside, I like it so far. Issues with AC are that is doesn't get cold fast enough for my liking and air comes up top vents even when wanted only on feet. =( Sound system is loud and fun. Lots of room inside. Shifts slowly and sometimes clumsily, gas milage is affected. I love the looks I get and the power everything that comes standard. Head Rests... ARGGHHH... They are too far forward in the front seats. I fixed them by taking them out and turning them backwards. Jack and other tools are in 2 different places too. Take jack and place in rear storage compartment. Get lots of comments.

Economy above average Engine quiet and the list of normal extra cost equipment is amazing as it is all included in the base price!

Reluctantly, I brought Ms. Foxy home and it's been a love affair ever since. Here we are 4 yrs later and I wouldn't trade her for the world. Definitely the last car I will ever own...I hope..

I've had my Scion Xb for a year now and still love it. I can pack it with people or things and get wonderful gas mileage (a real + these days!). We've used it to carry everything from a full-sized door to enough Christmas packages and food for a large family. It's not the fastest car on the highway, but goes more than fast enough for me to travel comfortably ( and affordably) on the Interstate in the fast lane.

I went to the dealership to look at Camry's and saw the xb. My wife and kids fell in love with it. (13 year old son already called dibs when he's old enough to drive) I thought it was pretty neat looking, and decided to take a test drive. Handles very well, especially with the 17 inch wheels. Is comfortable for longer drives (I average 150 + miles a day) Gas mileage is good, and the cold air intake and exhaust are a must. Sound system is very good. I was impressed with the look of quality in the interior. Have had it a month, put 5600 miles on it, and only wish the engine had a 'few' more horses to it and a middle arm rest.

I've now had my xB for a couple of months, and man, I was not prepared for how much I enjoy it! I'm a 46 y.o. guy who is ditching my job to go back to school, and I wanted lower car payments, so this was my cheapest but best choice...and I love it! It drives great, super gas economy, and with my aftermarket sunroof ($1200), it does everything I need it to do. My hat's off to Toyota for packing so many features into such an inexpensive vehicle...

Gas prices going higher? (I don't care) This little shoe box hates Gas Stations. Even as an automatic and with a caffeine rush attitude driving technique. Your gas tank will stay full, (It just won't go down to "E") Roominess? My gosh you feel like you're sitting in your living room airy high interior all around huge seats comfy. Sound? Well lets put it this way I added the Bazooka Subwoofer and it's like surround sound system in your home. It drives like a cream puff awesome suspension and handling and breaking becaue it also comes with ABS standard. You can move your whole apartment in almost one trip with your back seats flat down. I have nothing but good things to say about my Scion xB...

The Sio XB is a fun drive and very reliable. My wife and U have taken three four hour trips on the interstates and the vehicle has more than enough power to handle it. The ride is not bad either. We have alot of the extras on it like the Cold air intake, etc. We both really like the styling and no matter where we go we get comments about it. We entered a car show locally with it and got alot of comments about it. The car is just a very fun drive and I would recomend it to any one and any age. I am 47 and my wife is 45 and as I said we really have enjoyed the car so far.

The BOX is great! I've had mine for two months now and am still amazed at the space. I have no problem toting people or STUFF! I don't miss my truck, nor the 19 MPG. I'm easily getting 34 MPG city and 38 MPG highway in my Scion xB. The Box will not win any races, but who cares...its great handling will allow you to zip in and out of traffic, and has no problems cruising at 80 mph on the highway. My main problem with the box is that my wife and daughters grab every opportunity to take it. This vehicle is not just for the young crowd...I'm 42. The only addition I made was the center armrest...I would have bought the 5-speed but none where available. The camo color rocks! Get the center armrest and cruise control.

I have owned my XB for 2 weeks and it is absolutely a fun car to drive and own.I'm 62 years old and this has been a great experience. This car is geared toward the younger generation, but I'm here to tell you this car makes you feel young. Every day that I drive it some one always asks what is it? Who makes it? I love this car.

I originally bought this car for my 15 year old son. I figured I would drive it for the next year until he turns 16. I felt it was a good car to learn to drive. After driving it for the last 3 months, he is on his own. There is no way I am parting with my X/B. Sorry, I love this car.
