Wow what a car. I barely talked my significant other out of an xA but now everybody is glad I did. This car offers more interior comfort and space than most mid-size SUVs in the front AND rear. Great economy. Coolest looks on the road. Nimble and efficient. Go with the Sirius Satellite Radio. Last but not least...Toyota Quality.

I Love My Scion!

The xB is bigger on the inside than on the outside! Loading groceries (and everything else) is easy and fast and there's always room for more. Pick up and power is exceptional for its 1.5 ltr engine - better than most 6 cyl. autos. The headroom is fantastic ... my husband is a big guy, 300 lbs., and he can sit anywhere in the Scion with his cowboy hat on and not worry about knocking his hat off! And we turn heads everywhere we go. The only problem is for the other drivers on the road ... they think that a little car must be passed and because they do they're going to get a ticket 'cause I drive fast!

Just bought this great little car a few weeks ago and I love it. I read every review I could find before buying it and most were dead on. The style turns heads, the interior (size and design) is amazing, and the questions people ask are sure to keep you from being bored at parties. My wife loves it too and is looking forward to the day when we can fill up that HUGE back seat with a baby seat, a stroller, and every other thing we'll ever need for our child 4 months from now: the space will happily accomodate all of it. Ours ended up at about 19000 (be careful with all the warranties, paperwork, and other "extras", they are good but read up before hand) and I think it's worth every cent.

It evokes one of two reactions: That is ugly OR That is cute. The interior room is excellant. Rear seat passengers (6 foot plus) can sit comfortably with 6 inches between their knees and the rear of the front seats when in full rear position. You don't have to bend down to see out of the windows. No real blind spots. Toyota quality Excellant fuel economy. Interesting note: Toyota aimed it at the young market. But I would say that 75% of all the xB's we see are driven by older people who just love the roominess, gas mileage and reliability. Go figure.

I had researched the Scion line, and was already impressed by the features for the money. I had originally intended to buy an xA. A quick drive in the xB and I knew that was the Scion to own. As a previous Toyota owner I was already sold on quality and reliability. My xB is amazingly fun to drive.

I love my Scion xB! It handles well. Great gas mileage! I love the way it looks. I plan to keep this car for a long time. I cannot wait to get it accessorized! I know that this car was made specifically for the "Young" folks. My husband and I are in our late forties and love this car for going around town and back and forth to work!

My Scion is solar yellow. I have the sport model. I was very surprised at how well it handles. It is so easy to drive. I just scoot around town. I love how easy it is to get in and out of. And it has so much room inside. This is my eBay car and I use it a lot. A+ on the design. Very nice!! Love it!!

Just bought this car used. It's very solid and basic, much like the imports of the 70s and 80s. For a car with such little power, it's surprisingly fun to drive. The interior room is simply amazing. It's like a theater with 6 screens. The car seems to grow magically when you get in. I always tell friends that it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. Driving position is comfortable but you have to get used to the position of the gauges. The engine is peppy and fun to rev on city streets but merging on the interstate can be a challenge. This is allot of car for the money. I've found that it's several thousand less than a comparable Honda Element, Fit, or Toyota Matrix.

A lot of car for the money! ABS, stability, traction control, power everything and a great gas milage. Turns heads and very roomy. Couple drawbacks - a rather too stiff suspension, makes a bumpy ride on a bad road. It also has small luggage space unless you fold the rear seats. Otherwise a great car!

I have had my xB for several years now. I got my car with alloy wheels, arm rest and cruise control installed. I consistently get 30mpg in either city or highway. I still love the looks of it, I replaced the grill with billet aluminum and the rear lights with LEDs after I got rearended once (new tailgate as well). The car is reliable as can be (it's a Toyota afterall). Even after the new (ugly) xB's came out I still get comments on how cool (or ugly) my car is. If I had the means, I would get another, but with a manual transmission. I have had to have 2 large chips filled in from errant rocks at about $20 each.

My commute is about 100 miles a day. I love this little bugger. It handles well in all types of weather. The fuel economy is excellent. Matter of fact it just does what it is supposed to do day after day. Don't overlook the standard electronic stability control. While not sexy it just might save your life. My experience has led me to buy a second xB.

When I had originally purchased my 2005 Scion xB, I was in dire need of a car that worked, and I was sick of fixing up my old junker. I needed a reliable car to get to work and back home. Thankfully, a good friend of mine had turned me onto the Scion xB. With it's spacious interior and daring new looks, it was more than just a car. It redefined what it meant to drive a car. The Scion xB is great in all aspects of a new car; great standard options, a roomy interior for friends and family, wonderful fuel economy, and a fresh new look, all starting just under $15,000. This car is truely wonderful, and I'm proud to say, "I drive a box."

The first time that I laid my eyes on the Scion xB, I KNEW that I had to get one. With its unorthodox shape, for me, it was a sight to behold. Others may hate the "boxy" styling, but its roomy, gets great gas mileage, and IS fun to drive. I know its target audience is the younger crowd, but I've noticed a lot of mature folks driving xBs (including me). That says a lot!

I have driven my Scion xB about 24,000 miles and it still feels like new. Great job Toyota! My gas milage is consistently around 33 mpg, however when crusing at around 75 mph it drops as low as 29 (It's difficult to push a brick through the air). My highest tankfull mpg was 38. Yes, I would buy another, it is practical, boxy, well designed, and well built.

This was my daughter's dream car and she only had 900 miles on it when she was murdered. It is now my office on wheels as l work in many places. l have tried to make it a tribute to her, the license plate is her screen name and her name Vanessa, means butterfly; it is covered in butterflies now. l get comments on the butterflies all the time, usually from women, however, even a guy gives a thumbs up now and then as he passes me driving his own xB. l would give the car up in a second along with anything else to have my baby back but feel a bit closer to her driving the car she wanted long before it became available in Florida.

I have been driving minivans for years. A few months ago, lost one because it was totaled. My wife was tired of mom-mobile and wanted something "cute." After reading a lot of reviews, we narrowed it down to used xB or a new Cube or Soul. I found a nice xB on Craigslist and bought it last week in Dallas, drove it home to Atlanta. First thing I love is the fuel mileage. In traffic, I got about 30MPG. Cruising at 70mph on highway, got 40MPG (240 miles/ 6.2 gals). Interior is roomy and comfy. Cool, or "cute" factor is incomparable. Yes, it is square shaped, and yes, wind noise is slightly louder than minivans-but, it is not bad.

The interior is a tight squeeze with 5 adults (hip-wise), but has lots of leg room. Perfect for a 4-person family and hauling kids around. It is built well and does good on the highway.

I went to the dealership to look at Camry's and saw the xb. My wife and kids fell in love with it. (13 year old son already called dibs when he's old enough to drive) I thought it was pretty neat looking, and decided to take a test drive. Handles very well, especially with the 17 inch wheels. Is comfortable for longer drives (I average 150 + miles a day) Gas mileage is good, and the cold air intake and exhaust are a must. Sound system is very good. I was impressed with the look of quality in the interior. Have had it a month, put 5600 miles on it, and only wish the engine had a 'few' more horses to it and a middle arm rest.

I'm a 46 y.o. guy who is ditching my job to go back to school, and I wanted lower car payments, so this was my cheapest but best choice...and I love it! It drives great, super gas economy, and with my aftermarket sunroof ($1200), it does everything I need it to do. My hat's off to Toyota for packing so many features into such an inexpensive vehicle...

to say that a vehicle that is cheap can be functional it's usually some sort of marketing scheme, but after almost 10 months and almost 17,000 miles later I can attest that the vehicle is anything but a scam. This vehicle has everything that an expensive car should (abs, traction control, keyless entry, toyoguard)and yet is sold at an affordable price, and also it's fun to drive, a very comfortable vehicle for long or short trips and the fact that people look at this car (is a hate or love it desing) I have had a lot of positive reactions to the car, so I recomend you go to your nearest toyota dealership and like myself start your own great Xb experience.

I test drove all of the current compact vehicles in 2005, and this was by far the best value, the most fun, best looking and by far the roomiest. We drive it exclusively around town with our 3 kids. We even took it on an overnight trip with the kids--had plenty of room for a large suitcase, overnight bag, small cooler and the kids' DVD players. It handles well in Iowa winters with it's traction control. We were lucky to snag one only a few months old, and it's still worth close to what we paid for it 2 1/2 years ago. Love it!

People constantly stop to ask me about my xB-- "it is just so cute!!" and "Cool! A box car!" Averages 35 MPG city and 40 MPG highway. Feels like a mid- size car with the pluses of an economy car (easy to paralell park!). Fun and my pre-teen loves the stares he gets from the girls while he blasts the radio on "feel" setting.

With the high fuel prices in California I had to go with another way. I chose the Scion xB because in 1989 I bought a 4x4 Toyota and loved it knowing Toyota makes an excellent product. The gas milage on this xB is unreal and the power is great for 110 horses. In the near future I plan to add I cold air intake and a cat back muffler system to help the performance also. I might possibly make this a show car as well. My ending remarks at being a 50 year old male you can't go wrong with this sporty car from Toyota / Scion.
