Not everyone will like the Scion xB's unorthodox design as much as I do, but it sure provokes a lot of "stares" from folks who see me. The Honda Element pales in comparison.

Scion XB--Unique Style/Fun/Comfort

MY new XB is truly a joy. The room inside is cavernous compared to my former Explorer. The ride is smooth and quite, and truly has remarkable zip for a 4 cyl. The standard Pioneer stereo system puts you front row center of the concert. I would and have recommended the Scion XB to several people. When they tried it it sold itself (no hassles from salesmen--sticker price stands) they traded in and bought that day. Most 'options' come standard, but there is a remarkable list of accessories that can truly customize this car to become uniquely your own. I love my leather upholstery, cruise control, extra tinting, and the list goes affordably on. Try it you'll love it!

"MY SCION " WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE!

I have driven alot of cars in my life time (I'm 60 yrs old)and I have never been so excited as I am about my new Scion. Strangers are always asking me about my car when I'm at a gas station or food shopping. I even nicked named my vehicle "Silver bullet" because it has lots of kick power for a 4 cylinder automibile. I also like the Large front windshield and the rear windows that go down all the way. This car is very affordable, comfortable and puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. What's not to love!

Loved the look of this car when we 1st started seeing it driving around our town in the summer of 04...My wife said it was Ugly and would never consider buying such a car. As the months went on and my old Honda Wagovan became more decepite(Ran great-the little things started going, like AC,Radio, ability to rool down drivers side window,ect...) Anyway she began researching ScionXB's and came around to sharing my opinion- especialy since all the reviews were so good...Well now after driving it around for 5 months she loves how it looks and handles and we have come to describe it as "Very European Looking"...

I purchased my Scion Xb last April. I thought it was the weirdest car I had ever seen and I had to get it! I am not a kid. I am in my mid 50's. I really love the car. I am constantly being stopped on the street by people asking me about it. I am a great salesperson for the car. There are a couple of things that could use some changes inside, but they are minor. The worst thing is that you can not get cruise control factory installed, and the one they put in is absolutely horrible! My husband likes to drive it so much that I think he will get one for his next car.

I have only had this Scion Xb a week, so far I love it. Been debating on buying it for months, and finally did so I can save miles on my Yukon and save gas money. My kids love it, husband loves. People are impressed with the roomy interior. It is fun to drive. I love the 5 speed. Easy to park compared to my Yukon Xl.

I have been driving minivans for years. A few months ago, lost one because it was totaled. My wife was tired of mom-mobile and wanted something "cute." After reading a lot of reviews, we narrowed it down to used xB or a new Cube or Soul. I found a nice xB on Craigslist and bought it last week in Dallas, drove it home to Atlanta. First thing I love is the fuel mileage. In traffic, I got about 30MPG. Cruising at 70mph on highway, got 40MPG (240 miles/ 6.2 gals). Interior is roomy and comfy. Cool, or "cute" factor is incomparable. Yes, it is square shaped, and yes, wind noise is slightly louder than minivans-but, it is not bad.

This car has been wonderful and fun to drive. It gets great gas mileage, is compact in a parking spot and especially garage. The interior is a tight squeeze with 5 adults (hip-wise), but has lots of leg room. Perfect for a 4-person family and hauling kids around. It is built well and does good on the highway.

Reluctantly, I brought Ms. Foxy home and it's been a love affair ever since. Here we are 4 yrs later and I wouldn't trade her for the world. Definitely the last car I will ever own...I hope..

I've now had my xB for a couple of months, and man, I was not prepared for how much I enjoy it! I'm a 46 y.o. guy who is ditching my job to go back to school, and I wanted lower car payments, so this was my cheapest but best choice...and I love it! It drives great, super gas economy, and with my aftermarket sunroof ($1200), it does everything I need it to do. My hat's off to Toyota for packing so many features into such an inexpensive vehicle...

Bought my xB in late December 2004. Needed a vehicle that I could carry my disabled Sweetheart and be able to get her in and out without trouble. Told the salesguy if I could get the wheelchair in the luggage area, I would buy it and buy it we did. Has just over 23000 miles and couldn't ask for a better vehicle. Lots of power and energy, great mileage, and enough room for my 6'8" 300 lb son to drive with comfort. Installed luggage rack and aluminum alloy wheels from internet. Never used a drop of oil and no maintenance problems whatsoever. Best car I ever owned, and I've always driven sports/small cars (Triumph Spitfire, Opel Mimi-Corvette, Suzuki Samurai) and this one is the best.

This the second mini for us, the first was a 1963 Austin Mini. It is the only car we found that we could get in and out of without hurting our backs. It handles like the sports wagon it is. With a cold air intake system installed it performs much better and the mileage appears to be better than advertized. A Hotchkiss stabilizer bar made cornering even better and a better sense of stability. We immediately added Alloy wheels and find them a welcome addition, the brakes and lights are exceptional. We belong to the Sr. age and find others our age realizing the benefits of the way it is designed, needless to say we are looking forward to great experiances with this our own utility sports car

This little XB box is a "Shrinky Dink" that thinks its a sports car! I go the manual because I like the control and peppy nature. It is truely the best of both worlds, fun to drive and inexpensive. Oh, and for what its worth, I am not the Gen Y target market. I'm 60, going on 20, and can't wait to start adding the goodies to it. First up, cold air induction! For the older crowd this would be a GREAT second car, or commuter for work days. Flip down the rear seats, add the cargo cover, and head for the beach or golf course. Toyota got this one right in so many ways it makes me wonder why none of the other companies have nothing even close.

absolutey the best car i ever owned!! The gas mileage alone is a good reason to buy this car, but you also get a cute stylish sporty car to boot. Ive noticed alot of people turning their heads to check it out. The price tag cant be beat for a 2005 with all the room the you get. I didnt think when I looked at it from the outside that it would be very roomy, but once you get inside its great. I have two kids and their very comfortable.

I knew I wanted a Scion Xb before I ever saw or drove one! The design is the coolest; sort of a cross between a Mini Cooper and a Hummer! The handling is great. Its get up and go is very good for such a small engine. The head and leg room are phenomenal (it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside!) The cargo space has not been a problem. It's not a luxury car, but you have to drive it!

Just for fun I opened the back door of the limited edition yellow XB at the Denver car show and got in. Then just for fun I went to test drive one at my local Toyota dealership. You can only imagine the look on the sales guy's face when I told him I wanted to trade in my fully loaded less then one year old Infinity FX35! I was so impressed with the XB's looks, handling, gas mileage and its "dress up" possibilities that I bought two of them that day. Yup, thats right two. We are a two XB family. I bought the black one for myself and the white for my son. When they are parked side by side in the drive, we are the most popular house on the block. Why should Gen. Y have all the fun by themselves?

The Scion xB was a perfect car to follow my minivan, smaller but still with lots of space! It has versitility with its interior configurations, it has LOTS of ways to customize it, it can be spiffed up well. We have found it to be an incredible car in the snow and ice, it goes just about anywhere. It is tiny as all get- out outside and can park in small spots, yet it has an amazing amount of space inside, especially in the backseat and headroom. We get pretty good mileage, certainly better than most other cars, about 28 mpg - 36 mpg depending on the drive. Its pickup is understandably not like a V8, but it holds its own. It handles well, has a good braking system and is comfortable on long or short trips.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this car. I find myself making excuses to drive it. I still find myself looking back and smiling at my black box as I am walking away from it. It is fun to drive and with my extremely enthusiastic driving style, I still get about 28-30 MPG with mostly highway driving. The stock Pioneer sound system is awesome. Also, the huge side mirrors make changing lanes easy. The interior is extremely spacious and airy, so much so that I feel slightly claustrophobic when I get in normal cars. My only major gripe with this car is the small fuel tank. I find myself visiting the gas station 2x a week when with my prior car ('97 Honda Accord) once was plenty.

Looking for an appropriate vehicle in which to drive clients around, I stumbled upon the Scion. Intending to buy a Lincoln or other luxury sedan for space and comfort, I inexplicably fell in love with this weird-looking vehicle with its unique dashboard. At first I kicked myself for what seemed to have been an impulse purchase...a nostalgic regression to my youth- addled tastes in the 60's, when I drove a "psychedelic" VW microbus. But The Scion xB turned out to be an excellent choice. My clients love it, and it's an instant conversation piece that quickly breaks the ice. Even my tallest passengers are comfortable with its ample leg and head room, front and back. And what fun to drive!

I really needed a quality but inexpensive car for college and the Scion xB was the perfect thing. It gets amazing gas mileage, the room inside is great and I can appreciate it cause I'm 6'4 and it really is fun to drive. Of course it's no speed deamon but that's what you sacrifice for the gas mileage and price and I knew that going in. Since I've had it, three of my friends have gone into the process of getting one they love it so much.

Got the box less than a month ago. Traded the Cadillac for this fun economical vehicle. Gas mileage is great, comfort is surprisingly good. The body style is love or hate-I love it. Took it in the curves and it did remarkably well and had the power ratio to climb the hills. Put on the low profile tires and wheels which made a huge difference in it's look. The people at Maita were very accomodating. Had the lights put in under the dash which makes one feel young when driving. I like it more everytime I drive it. I would recommend the car to any age group, not just the young. The more goodies you put on to make it unique-the better.

I bought this little wagon as a "grocery getter" for my wife. But before a month was over I took it as my daily commuter to work. I am 6'4" & drive 50+ miles a day. Nothing on the market offers this much space w/ great fuel economy at an affordable price. My kids love this ride, they ask to take the toaster on trips over our Tahoe. At 30,0000 miles I still average 33 MPG w/ auto transm and have had no problems.

Daughter and friends love all the room in the back. 1 BIG COMPLAINT: My husband & I both have backaches after riding more than 1 hr in either front seat (we are 5'6" and 5'10"). I couldn't be more pleased with my car, it was most everything I was looking for. I'm 6'6", and this car had the leg room and head room I was looking for, the low cost, good gas mileage, extended warrenty, and that "turns heads" factor that I've come to enjoy. I was looking for a simple comfortable car that I could drive for many years and still haul some friends around in, and this car fits the bill perfectly. I've had the car a short while, but I'm betting on toyota's typical high quality and low frequency of repairs. As long as this car doesn't break down often I will be very pleased for years to come.

My little white cube on a skate is so tiny outside, yet, so cavernous inside. Nimble in traffic, easy to park. It's fun to look at, fun to drive. Sound system is great. My xB Scion makes me feel like a young man again. I'm in my sixties.

My third Toyota and by far the most enjoyable to drive. Fun car with lots of room and great mileage. All the safety features you expect from a Toyota.

i went looking for "something that gets a lot of MPG's" without much hope of being able to afford anything cool or fun. i was thinking hyundai, kia, or chevy aveo and was blown away when i found out i could have a scion for about the same (comparably equipped) price. i love my toaster! it can be thrown into corners like a sports car, is comfy on long trips, comfortably seats four fullsize american adults, and still gets 35 mpg! american car companies oughtta be taking notes!!

Wow what a car. I barely talked my significant other out of an xA but now everybody is glad I did. This car offers more interior comfort and space than most mid-size SUVs in the front AND rear. Great economy. Coolest looks on the road. Nimble and efficient. Go with the Sirius Satellite Radio. Last but not least...Toyota Quality.
