Used 2006 Scion tC 2dr Hatchback (2.4L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
My Favorite Car Ever
I have only had it for 100 miles, but I am already in love with it. The handling, the power, the long list of standard features. This car feels like $30m000, not the $17.500 I paid. The only option that we have is the sidecurtain airbags. We almost wrecked it with only 70 miles on the odometer! Some jerk tried to dart through three lanes of heavy traffic, then stopped. This was my first experience with 4 wheel ABS disc brakes. We managed to stop just inches from this fools door. The tC is a major bargain. It has lots of safety features. It is 100% Toyota with a Camry engine. I was looking for basic, reliable transportation, I ended up with all of that in cool little rocket!
My tC has heart, my heart :)
I love my scion tC. Ever since I bought I can not go anywhere with out getting questioned about it. It is fun to drive, fast and has a really awsome sporty look. It was the car that i was looking for but thought that i could not afford. Starting at $16,000 it is by far the only car on the road that will give you all of the options that you would want with a hot spoiler, subwoofer, rims and just about any feature to choose from. Clearly priced toward the bank account of a college student or young professional.

Love It
I love my Scion tC. I would definitely buy one again. It is the most fun that you can get for your money. No car is more fun driving around town. Its low end torque is amazing. The tires want to chirp. The stereo wants to blast. This car is a blast, and it's comfortable. It is great on the highway, too.
Great for casual luxury
I love my Scion tC. It's reliable and affordable. You can't go wrong with this car. There is so much you can to to it as well. It looks mostly like a girlie car though. Guys just dont look right in one of these. Replace the tiers. I blew one out and it set me back about $250.
Lovin' it at age 40
Who says this is for the young generation? I'm having fun driving this thing. I'm usually the SUV type a guy but ever since the gas price started going up, I will be driving this baby spring thru fall! I feel like I'm driving in a sports car. I get an avg of 25 mpg in mixed highway / city driving. Although, once broken in...it will be better on gas. I think this car will bring out the midlife crisis in me. I'm already thinking of modifying it...uh oh! This car has a lot of torque. It will take time getting use to the 1st gear. It has a lot of wheel spin, but definitely stick with the manual tranny.
