Used 2006 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Not Reliable
This vehicle is not reliable. I have had 7 warranty related issues in two years before hitting the 30,000 mile mark and they keep happening. The dent resistant panels may keep dents away but they are starting to come undone at the bottom so when you open the back doors the panel catches and the door has to be shut and opened again. This is not covered by the warranty either. I have had one door that would neither open nor close (at 8000 mi) and twice the locks froze up so the door will not shut until it thaws 30 miles from home w/ 2 infants in back. The entire onstar system was replaced. Carrier bearing had to be replaced (20,000 mi). Service not helpful either.
Saturn VUE awd 3.5
I have owned a Saturn Redline AWD VUE for a year now and have had nothing but great dependabilty and driving pleasure from it. My average gas mileage is between 26-28 mpg. Handles real well for a SUV. I highly recommend this SUV.

New to Saturn
Just purchased the vehicle. Like the performance and the gas mileage so far. Interior design could be better in the center console area. Not much storage room. OnStar is great. Rear door is very heavy and hard to close. Very comfortable seats and lots of leg room in the rear for the size of the vehicle.
Love Our Saturn VUE
Have only had our VUE a couple of months, but are very pleased with its overall performance. We love the style, inside and outside. It handles really well, and we just love driving it. The gas mileage is very good, and that's a big plus. This is a vehicle anyone would love to own and drive from young to old. A great vehicle all in all!
Back to American Company
I traded my first '98 Saturn SL2 for a '02 VW Jetta, huge mistake. By 30,000 miles and 2 years, I had to get it fixed 15 times. So I traded for a ' 06 Saturn Vue AWD V6. I had the vehicle for 3 years, not one stinking problem. We had a foot of snow, this vehicle did amazingly well and no worries. The gas mileage is like a car, so I'm not paying any more than I used to. This is a very reliable vehicle, only had to get oil changes and new tires. The power windows did not get stuck in the frost/ice like the Jetta did (three times). I have done LONG road trips and no problems with cruise control or comfort. I am extremely happy with my Vue, with the help of Honda under the hood.
