Used 2006 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
VUE for You
Traded a 2004 4-cyl VUE for the 2006 with the 250HP 6-Cyl. At a sustained 75MPH on the highway the six gets the same MPG as the four since it is not working hard. Very comfortable in city and highway with LOADS of power. The free OnStar system for one year is great. Talking hands free "into my rearview mirror" is a treat. Overall after 2500 miles I am very happy with almost everything about the 6 cyl VUE. The only suggestion I have is that they should improve the brakes with discs all around. Great value for the money.
Third Saturn and Very happy
This is my third Saturn and second VUE I have owned. I traded a 2003 VUE in on this one and am very glad I did. The change in engine in 2006 is a nice improvement as is the improved interior design. The 2006 is quite peppy and fun to drive. If it is as reliable as my 2003 (no problems what so ever) I will be thrilled. Selling dealer was very nice and located the car I wanted. Easy place to do business. The Chrome package really adds a lot to the looks of the VUE. The 6-disc CD player is also nice because it plays MP3 CDs as well. Great car for the money!!!!

Slip Slidding Away
Bought it new off the lot. opted for a little better milage over the AWD. BIG mistake !!!! This is one of the worst vehicles I've ever driven in the snow. Tires are too wide, and the anti-lock brakes are WAY to touchy. Just seems like in snow, the anti- locks go on and there is no braking at all ! Traction control via the throttle reacts way too slow too. I also have a "02" Saturn wagon. Traction control via brakes and anti- lock are much better. NOt to mention, on the wagon you can turn it off with a button. On the Vue your stuck with it, unless you want to drive in Lo gear. Had it in three times to the dealer before warranty ran out "Nothing wrong with it!" ????????
Excellent Bargain
250 hp Honda Engine. Excellent fuel economy. Excellent styling in and out, truly a standout in its class.
Saturn VUE awd 3.5
I have owned a Saturn Redline AWD VUE for a year now and have had nothing but great dependabilty and driving pleasure from it. My average gas mileage is between 26-28 mpg. Handles real well for a SUV. I highly recommend this SUV.
