Used 2002 Saturn S-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
Saturn SL
After driving the Saturn SL for only 8 months, I have come to the conclusion this is an eceptionally good car. It is fun to drive and a lot more peppier than I had thought it would be. The feul economy is great and so far it has been extremely reliable. As for the exterior, Its priceless for the way it does not dent or ding. The one negative that I have is the interior design with its plastic knobs and such. All in all a very good sedan.
Good Basic Car
I bought this car in Feb 2005. Under warrenty I had the driver's seat stabilized (it rocked), power steering replaced and the taillights replaced. Since I bought a new battery, replaced belt, brake job and radiator flush. It's at 77k now and driving just fine. I have had no problems with this car. It really lacks power and has "got up and went".
Great American Car for the Money
This is the 5th Saturn my family has owned. I will compare my Saturns to my wife's Volvo anytime. The dealer is great and the repair cost are fair. I just traded a 1994 SL-2 with 190,000 miles. I traded becasue the dealer gave me a great trade in. A few minor problems at 103,000 miles, but nothing that was out of the ordinary. Plus this car is made in America by Americans!
2002 Saturn review
Actually, I traded my 1996 Saturn for the 2002. The 1996 had 101,000 miles on it and it was using, not leaking oil. It used a quart every 2000 miles and I changed oil at 3000 90% of the time. I consider this to be a very short time to be using that much oil. I will check the new one very closely. The dealer only offored me $1500 for the car on trade, but I got them up to $2800. My wife got $4200 for her 1986 Honda and was going to buy another Honda, but we were completely turned off by the sales tactics at the Honda dealer.
Quality Car
Hands down, a quality car.
