Used 2002 Saturn S-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
Saturns are cool
A fabulous car, made to drive. Great economy, good bang for the buck. Not too powerful, but who needs that.
Wow. Need I say more?
I was inspired by an ad on TV offering a limited edition SL for $9995 including air. Only one color, but it's very nice (Silver Blue). We were going to get a used car, but the financing on this one was as good as or better than we could have gotten on anything else. The car is a light- weight, but it drives great with the standard transmission. Kinda chugs when fully loaded, but functional. Hey, it's just a work car. Also, standard equipment better than the Achieva I bought 8 years ago (ie: dual airbags, rear window defrost are my favorites).
SL1
A practical car, economical (44 mpg on highway),fun to drive. Appears larger than it is due to the sedan styling. Strongly recommend for commuting.
Surprising
I purchased this vehicle used in 2006 as a replacement to my wife's Honda Civic which died on us after 212,000. It was a cheap commuter with some surprising features. I am the 2nd owner and found the 1st owner really took care of the car. This car has everything, power windows/locks, traction control, moon roof, leather, fog lamps. It is blue/grey with a 5- speed manual and very fun to drive. It has surprising speed and pick up for a Saturn and seems to handle well. It gets great gas mileage and so far I can not complain about anything.
Saturn SL
After driving the Saturn SL for only 8 months, I have come to the conclusion this is an eceptionally good car. It is fun to drive and a lot more peppier than I had thought it would be. The feul economy is great and so far it has been extremely reliable. As for the exterior, Its priceless for the way it does not dent or ding. The one negative that I have is the interior design with its plastic knobs and such. All in all a very good sedan.
