My first new car and she has been great. From heat and humidity in Florida to just plain HEAT in Vegas to the German Autobahn it still kicks. Power is good with the twin-cam, though you have to keep it "on-cam" to have it when you need it. Good on gas and fun to drive

I got my 1993 Saturn SL1 3 years ago when I was 16. The car had 188,000 miles on it. And it ran great. It got upwards of 32 MPG highway. Know my car has almost 229,000 mile and still runs great. And even know that I live in the city I get 25 MPG (city mileage of course). so overall a great start out car. Very reliable and fun to drive

This car's alternator went out at 36,000 miles after the warranty was up. It went out again in 2000. The gears shift badly. Reverse gear is terrible. It gets awful gas mileage around town about 22mpg.

My SC2 was the first car I ever bought. It had 93,000 miles on it, and had had work done. I never had any problems with it, except for the brake cables came loose every now and then and it habitually overheated, until it hit 115,000 miles and then everything went at once
