2025 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Trims Comparison

Most configurations come standard with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 that produces 405 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. It is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Standard with the Mega Cab trim and optional on all other versions except the Power Wagon is a 6.7-liter turbodiesel inline-six that produces 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft of torque. It's paired to a different eight-speed automatic.

Detailed below is a breakdown of the features you'll find on each trim level, but note that the Ram 2500 is available with a dizzying number of add-ons and packages. Many of these bring features from upper trims to the more affordable versions.

Tradesman
This is what you buy for a business with greater capability needs than a half-ton truck can handle. There are few frills, but standard equipment does include:

• Manual locks, windows and mirrors
• Automatic headlights
• Integrated trailer brake controller
• 40/20/40-split front bench seat (no height adjustment)
• Vinyl upholstery
• Tilt-only steering wheel

• Six-speaker sound system (crew cab)
• Four-speaker sound system (regular cab)

A pair of driver assistance systems are also included:

• Forward collision warning with automatic braking (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
• Adaptive cruise control (adjusts speed to maintain a constant distance between the vehicle and the car in front)

Many of the Big Horn's upgrades, plus a few options such as the 12-inch infotainment system and dual-zone automatic climate controlm, can be added via the substantial Tradesman Level 1 Equipment Group.

Big Horn
The Big Horn has chrome exterior trim instead of flat black and the general appearance of a truck that doesn't have "Ray's Plumbing" written on the side. Its extra equipment includes:

• 18-inch alloy wheels
• Power locks and windows
• Heated power-folding mirrors
• Rear window defroster
• Cloth upholstery
• Interior carpet
• Six speakers (regular cab)
• Parking sensors (alert you to obstacles that may not be visible in front of or behind the vehicle when parking)

Laramie
The Laramie is the first luxury trim level, though it doesn't go as far as the Limited. Its many upgrades include:

• Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
• Keyless entry
• Dampened tailgate
• Power-telescoping mirrors
• Power-sliding rear window
• 115-volt electrical outlet in the bed

Some of the Limited's extra niceties are available on the Laramie along with many smaller optional packages and stand-alone options. This is also the first trim eligible for the auto-leveling air suspension option (also offered on the Rebel and the Limited and Limited Longhorn).

Rebel
The Rebel is equipped similar to the Laramie in terms of comfort, convenience and luxury features. This off-road-oriented trim level, however, gets unique styling, along with functional upgrades that include:

• Four-wheel drive
• 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires
• Powder-coated bumpers
• Hill descent control
• Off-road suspension tuning with Bilstein dampers
• Electronically locking rear differential
• Underbody protective skid plates
• Recovery hooks

Power Wagon
The Power Wagon is another off-road-oriented 2500 that takes the Rebel's capabilities to the next level with:

• Raised ride height
• 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires
• Electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar (can increase wheel articulation for off-roading)
• Off-road-oriented suspension that allows for improved articulation
• Electronically locking front and rear differentials

Limited and Limited Longhorn
The two Limiteds are priced and equipped equally, but they differ in terms of styling. Basically, the Longhorn has Western-inspired interior details, including badging, wood trim and special Filigree leather. They're both only available with front bucket seats, a full center console and therefore five-passenger seating. They also add:

Available on all but the Tradesman are a number of driver assist features bundled into packages. (Package names and other included content depend on the trim.) These include:

• Blind-spot intervention (automatically steers the car back into its lane if you try to change lanes while a car is in the vehicle's blind spot)
• Driver attention warning (issues an alert if sensors determine you are becoming fatigued)
• Traffic sign recognition
• Adaptive steering system (increases assistance at low speeds, decreases assistance to improve precision at higher speeds)
• 360-degree camera system (gives you a top-down view of the Ram 2500 and its surroundings in tight parking situations)

A variety of trailering aids are also available, most notably the new Trailer Reverse Guidance system that lets you steer the truck and trailer using a knob when reversing. It takes the mental gymnastics out of reversing with a trailer.
