yes, it is a sports car in an SUV body
My "other car" is a 2014 911 Turbo S, and I have to say it's hard to pick which car is more fun to drive on an ordinary day. The Cayenne is so comfortable, but the V-8 in this (in Sport Mode) is just a beast. I'm not sure I'd pay the $$ for a new one, but I got this used with 14K miles...the CPO warranty takes me to 100K miles. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a sports car, but need the size/convenience of an SUV.

Fun!
Purchased a 2014 platinum edition with 62300 miles in December 2021. Had it for about 3 months now and so far so good. Drives very smooth and acceleration is top notch makes long commutes fun and handles very well. Also has a quite interior and lots of room.

Best all around vehicle I've owned
I have owned my Cayenne diesel for 2 years. Around town, it's a pleasure to drive with ample room for 2 kids, 2 dogs, and groceries. If I want to have some fun on the back roads, I put it in sport mode and let it eat up the turns. Around town, I'm getting 27-30 mpg. I just got back from a 2500 mile road trip. I drove 863 miles the first day with no stiffness or soreness averaging 74 mph, getting 34-35 mpg and going almost 700 miles on one tank of diesel! It's the perfect vehicle if you need an SUV but also love driving country roads and want to do some long trips. It also does great in snow and rain with different driving modes. I only wish they offered a manual model.

I haven’t felt this good about a car in a while…
Purchased a 2015 used Porsche diesel and it’s way more than I expected. I LOVE the torque and handling. It’s the best SUV I have ever owned. Obviously, it has its quirks like any vehicle, but the quality is far superior to so many brands. It actually is the best car I ever had next to my 1984 Porsche 928, and my purchased new as a kid 1988 Pontiac Trans AM. Heck, it is an SUV and I am old now…

2015 Cayenne S
I have had this SUV for about 4 months. I was driving a Mercedes S550 AWD the last several years. I miss some of the creature comforts of the Mercedes and the smooth ride.It is simply more refined. The Cayenne is more responsive and a blast to drive. I am sell getting used to the profound differences of the two vehicles.
