I have owned for six years, and this is my favorite of all the vehicles I've owned or driven. The ride, handling, comfort, looks and gas mileage are excellent. If you can find one that has been well taken care of, and is in good to excellent condition, buy it. This car rides as good as or better than a Cadillac.

This is a big boat of a car, but I love it. I used to be a Service Manager at an Oldsmobile dealership and I know how reliable these cars are. It has a fantastic engine and gets great gas mileage (routinely get 30 mpg on highway). As with any car, you will have to replace the water pump and an alternator every now and then. But otherwise, Oldsmobile Ninety-Eights are great cars.

This car has been the most comfortable car that I have ever owned and one of the best that I have driven. When my wife and two teenage boys go on vacation we have no trouble carting all of our baggage. There is also loads of room in the car for carrying my family and parents on short trips.

the car was amazing.. it handled like a dream.. drove very soft and comfortable.. would really get up and go when i wanted it to... the 3.8 v6 is a VERY solid engine.. a very reliable engine.. very reliable body.. very reliable car all around.. when my brother totaled it against a 2002 Ford F250 there wasnt much left of either vehicle but the only damage my brother had was some bruised up legs and the airbag almost broke his nose. in my opinion had he of been driving his 2001 S-10 4X4 that night instead of my car.. he wouldnt be here anymore

I'm 6'7" tall. This car fits very nicely. I've had a bunch of electrical problems in the 5 years I've had it, but nothing really extreme. The ride is nice, and it has TONS of options. The only thing I'm not too impressed with is the Leather seats in the summer... But the seat warmer sure helps during the winter.

My whole family loves oldsmobiles. I'll tell you that I believe this is the best one we got yet. It comfortable, easy to drive, and yet even though it is a luxury car, it has the get go when you need it.

this is my first car i bought it knowing i would have to put $ into it but i've put way way more then the car will ever be worth when everything is working though its a fun car and it fits a lot of stuff in it maybe to much but the only thing that bothers me are, for me at least i have rust problems in the wheels wells that i am currently fixing and also don't like how the dash is tilted so much because i put in a new head unit and you can not see it to well but on the plus side its an easy car to work on and I've learned a lot with everything its a solid car though if everything is working well

Of all the cars we have owned over the years this one rates number one. It has been the most reliable, dependable, and comfortable car we have ever had. We are the second owners and see by the records at the dealership that the previous owner took excellent care of this car as well. The odometer is just over 92,000, 60,000 of which we have put on, and never a problem.

I didn't know what a fine car these model 98's are until I was working where the lady wanted to sell the 98 for her mother that could no longer drive. I made an offer of $500 on the 1991 regency with only 63,000mi. as an extra car. I'm 68 now and its been the most comfortable car to drive in as well as handling. Even after an accident to the front end it still drove straight as can be and the lady that hit me claimed she was hit by a tank that totaled her 2017 chevy. I hated to see it go in the insurance claim but will always have the experience of driving a great car.

The car is so great for the money. It has great power, and for the size of the car, its really gets up and goes. I have had my car at over230 KPH and felt completely confident. The car is extremely comfortible, and the heated seats are really nice to have. The supercharger give the car some real kick, put your foot down, and you KNOW when it kicks in. I love this car!

16 years old, 87,000 miles. Got it for my niece. This car is in exceptional condition for its age. Has been in storage since the original owner passed away 2 years ago. Bought it from his son. Just can't believe the condition. Handles very well. Engine/tranny are fine. Only thing she has to do is change out the cassette for a cd player. Very well built gm car!

Paid $900 for it from a dealer with 213,000 on the clock. I was happy to find one in perfect shape from Texas with "low" miles, relatively speaking. It's been in Minnesota for the past 10 years, according to CarFax. The car is a tank. I own a '94 Olds Ciera, and the quality is worlds apart. This was there best car for this year.

Very nice and comfortable but lacks the ability to handle a heavy load like the rear drive version. For a front drive car this is very nice and has convienant controls, excelent heater and air system. The steering whell controls are excellent for the radio and climate functions.

I bought this car at 39,000 miles, have driven it for 5 yrs. Good, solid car BUT as with all GM cars from the 1980s and 1990s, the interior trim does not hold up. This is my second Olds (1986 Cutlass) and BOTH had air conditioners go out and had to have headliners replaced. Otherwise, I love the design and plan to drive this car until it doesn't go anymore (hopefully another 90,000 miles).

I got this car as my first car from my parents and I've loved everything about this car its got power and it handles pretty well i get alright mpg but that might be because of my lead foot. All my friends love riding along. It's a great all around car if you have the chance get your hands on one. Going around corners is loads of fun when its sharp enough to make you squeal.

I got my Olds for my 16th birthday and it is still going strong. I have ran the crap out of it I have had no major problems. I would buy another one if I get a chance. This is a great car for new drivers, old drivers and anyone in between. Also it is very big so there is room for a bunch of people. You can fit 6 people safely (all wearing seat belts).

I still have this car and all I can say is it is amazing. I have never had any major problems with it, and other than part replacement due to normal wear it has always been vey dependable. The car now has 251,000 miles on the original engine and tranny and it still runs strong and does not burn a drop of oil. (Add to that the 29/31 MPG it gets on fuel economy, and I cant understand why GM ever stopped using this engine.) I would buy another in a heartbeat!
