Used 2017 Nissan Titan Consumer Reviews
Titan Guy 2004 & 2017
I owned a 04 Titan SE Crew cab 4X4 for 10 years. I bought it used and put 246000 miles on it with no mechanical issues. I loved that truck and thought it to be very comfortable and reliable. I purchased the 17 PRO4X with every available option and so far I can report that I do love this truck. As others have stated, it is bigger than the older one and requires more turning radius. However, other than that I have had no issues. This one has all the gadgets and electronic gizmos that my 04 did not making it very fun to drive. My only complaint might be the lack of usable space under the rear seats. The new Titan has lockable storage boxes under the rear seats and although a nice idea, they are not really big enough for anything such as tools. I used to carry a toolbox under the seat of my old one. Also, being a four wheel drive I believe the PRO4X should come equipped with better off road tires than the other Titans available. My first time off road against my brothers Tundra was not an impressive outing. The locking Diffs are nice however, more meaty off road tires are needed. Other than that, really great truck. I'm sure i'll be driving this one for many years.

Die hard Ford guy first time in Nissan
So I’m a die hard Ford guy figured I’d get buried in a F150.some happened got a car and needed another truck. Have good income but credit score was super low so didn’t have as much ability to negotiate like I wanted.Awesome Nissan dealer in Foley Alabama had a 2017 Nissan Titan SL with 18,700 miles. Truck looked good had a few scratches but ran good. Took test drive and fell in love with the sound of the v8 and interior and exterior look. Only things I dislike is the radio is seriously dated, and the gas mileage is terrible. When I’m babying it I can maybe get like 13.5 not as bad on highway. I have done things to make it my own like black letters on on the Titan words around the vehicle, added a steelcraft grill guard, dual borla s type mufflers with s pipe and black pipes out the back and a 12.1 phoenix automotive tablet style radio and a over heard dvd system watching to install and weather tech floor mats. To wrap it up I paid like 35500 for my truck that came with leather, heated seats, 20 inch wheels, remote start, led lights, navigation, cargo lights and 120 volt plug in cab and in bed of truck. In all honesty u get more truck with the Nissan than I would got from Ford dodge or Chevy for this price and mileage. Only trade off is dated radio and gas mileage sucks but I have a new radio so only complaint is gas mileage. But over all I’m happy with this truck great purchase. **************************************************** 2023 update I've traded this titan for a brand new 2023 Ford F-150. I'm very happy now, but I didn't have not one problem with the titan it will make the new owner happy.

I’ve owned trucks made by Ford, GMC, Toyota, Ram and Nissan. This my favorite one thus far. It’s just an all round great truck. The gas mileage could use some improvement and the paint scratches easy, but other than that, it’s an awesome truck. It might look big, but it drives and handles like a smaller truck. The surround view camera makes it easy to park. In my opinion you get more truck for the money than the others, not to mention the five year/100,000 mile warranty.
Last titan I'll ever buy.
2017 SL king cab titan with 73k and it's sitting in the drive while while I'm driving my 2011 traverse with 140k that has never given me a problem. Lean code bank 2. Taken it in twice to be fixed but can't find the problem. Just throwing money down the drane. Never again. Common problem with this truck and too many things that can cause this code to pop up. Now transmission is a problem. Done with it.

2/24/ 17 we purchased a 2017 nissan titan SV what we believed to be a tough work truck with extras. Well within one week we started having issues with the parking sensors and sonar warning light staying on. off the dealership with this truck for repair. a day later they state it was repaired and ready to pick up. on the way home the sonar warning came on and the parking sensor error back on. back to the dealership again, this time they said it needed a right frony sensor, it came in a few days later so the truck was left there for repairs, we received a phone call the truck was ready to pick up. we get to the dealership and upon going out to the truck and starting it the same issues appeared the sonar warning and parking sensor errors again, went right back in the dealership and again the truck was left at the dealership, then service calls us and tells us the truck needs to have the sonar module replaced. so we wait and a couple days later we receive a phone call that the truck is all done and ready to pick up, so back to the dealership only to arrive at the dealership to find out that they have the truck back in the shop again for the same issues/problems and we are being told by the service advisor that once again the truck needs more parts replaced with this tome being a pin for a wire harness/connector. what a blow to us. especially when since the first time this vehicle was taken in the service advisor stated that he checked all connectors and all appeared to be in great shape. so now the truck is still at the dealership waiting parts and repair. We contacted Nissan usa consumer affairs division to file for a lemon and a replacement truck, this is pending and takes weeks. the dealership will only do a trade towards another truck which cost us several thousand dollar loss on the trade, NO WAY! apparently this dealership service has been in contact with Nissan tech dept. and being told try this and that which so far nothing has worked to fix the issues. Now we are very skeptical of these trucks especially since this is a new truck with very little miles on it. what next?
