Fantastic Cheap Work Truck

Bought the Titan to travel to the great white north country and needed 4WD. easy to operate the 4x4 and I drive 800 miles at a stretch. The gas mileage at 80 mph is generally between 18-20 mpg, excellent for a big V-8. Nice exhaust note! The brakes were an issue, but covered under warranty. Had a rear wheel bearing leak after 3yr warranty expired, covered under the 5yr 60K drivetrain warranty. Excellent warranty coverage by Nissan! The sheet metal is a little soft and dents easily. Still running the original tires at almost 40K on a 4x4 - unbelievable!! All around excellent truck, even in the XE no frills package.

My Titan has been very good

My Titan has been very good in the time I have owned it. The gas mileage has been better than expected, especially considering the power the truck has. I have had as good as 23 miles to the gallon on the highway, and usually get at least 20 MPG. The truck rides nice and has a huge amount of space inside. We have used it to take long trips instead of our SUV because it is more comfortable and actually has more interior space.

Traded in a 2004 dodge ram 2500 with a hemi and I thought no truck could replace it, but the dodge hemi has no low end power like the nissan titan.

I was so excited to buy this truck. It looked great, drove great and Sounded awsome(duel exaust). To this day I still love the Truck and tell others to buy it.My problems started the day I picked up my truck. The drivers window came out of track. They fixed it, I got it back the next day the window came out of track again, they fixed it again. To save you the trouble of reading between the lines here is the rest of the problems.Driver window motors replaced, both.Wind noise all around the windshield, back of passengers seat replaced 5x, would keep comming loose,Tire pressure sensor light comes on after 40 miles, they can't fix it,I've had it in 7x,R-diff housing replaced , many more problems, many

I got my 2004 titan in 5/2004. At 1280 miles, bad steering vibration due front brakes. They resurfaced rotors& put new on brake pads. The 2nd time 300 miles. They put new rotors & new pads. The 3rd time 4000 miles. Resurfaced rotors & put on new pads. The 4th time 5642 miles, had to bring it back again. Not even a year old. I am not very happy. I am not just talking about a little vibration on the steering wheel. It is pretty bad... Ride is pretty smooth, plenty of power. But the brakes are no good. Because of this I probably would not buy another Nissan. Thank you.
