Not so beautiful beauty
I love the exterior and interior of my 2017 Nissan but I am extremely unhappy about the way it drives. All of the technical bells and whistles work fine but the engine is VERY LOUD. It gets even louder when you try to accelerate . Acceleration is slow so you have to wait until all cars near and far have gone by to change lanes because it moves very slow and the gas peddle seams as though it is pulling back when you try to press the peddle down harder. Cars constantly ride up on the back of me while I'm waiting for it to finally speed up It's been to the shop 3 times since I purchased it but the mechanics can't find anything wrong with it. I've only had it for 4 months and I can't wait to trade it in for something more dependable. Very frustrating.

2017 NISMO Sentra
Research the CVT transmission before purchasing this vehicle. If buying used, consider getting an extended warranty. We bought this car in 2020 with less than 30000 KM. My wife drives our Sentra exclusively in eco mode. On the way back from working a 12 hour shift the dash and interior lights started flashing, the car went into limp mode and when she pulled over and shut down it wouldn't start. We had it towed to the Nissan dealer. They diagnosed a failed alternator. 1 or more of three diodes failed. Although a replacement alternator online is under 300.00 they charged more than 800.00 plus labour. We paid 150.00 with our extended warranty. Some dash controls are not illuminated and hard to detect at night. The light control is blocked by the steering wheel. Sport and eco mode can be accidently bumped on by my left knee. A large warning that it is cold outside remains displayed on the dash. It's irritating. When you first turn on the ignition the average fuel consumption is displayed. I'd much rather have a running toll of fuel economy than an outside temperature warning. The fog lights cannot be activated at the same time as the headlights. They look cool with the daytime eyebrow led lights. The Nismo seats are comfortable and offer excellent lateral control however the side seat bolster is hard to slide over when entering the front seats. It now makes sense why a used 2019 Nismo Sentra we looked at had a ripped side seat bolster . The sentra has amazing rear seat head and leg room. The trunk is huge and deep. The car handles quite well with 18" wheels and the Turbo offsets the the low HP of the small 1.8 liter motor. Fuel economy is awesome. Ride and comfort is good. Road sound is minimal. The styling of the Nismo is gorgeous with wind tunnel tested spoilers and rear diffuser. FYI I have driven 3 Altima SE's and put over 200,000 on each without so much as a lightbulb repair. Surprisingly, our 2008 had 350,000 before the CVT transmission failed. It never let us down once during our entire ownership. We also purchased a used 2014 Pathfinder with under 60,000 KM. It already had a transmission replaced by the previous owner. I am currently feeling a clunk in the front R wheel when turning the steering wheel. The previous owner may have towed with it. For the first time owning a Nissan I find myself worried about reliability and expensive car repairs.

Not a SI..but it works!
If you put it in sport mode with traction off, it performs.
