Very Reliable
I bought this car when it was a year old and I have had it since. I did real bad with maintenance but the thing just keeps running. Just recently I replaced 146,000 mile drive belts. Not because I was having problems with it...I was just concerned that they were so old. After 100,000 miles things started breaking: Battery, water pump, thermostat, rotors, pads, and calipers. I think this is good conssidering that one of my friends have Dodge Neons and they had to replace the head gasket at 20,000 miles and another one had to replace his Grand Prix water pump at 60,000.
Like a Rock - Nissan Style
My Sentra, a 4dr. Limited Edition model, has been the most reliable car I've owned in 45 years of driving. The brakes are marginal, the rear seat is for people under 5'8" tall, and the original starter and alternator failed before 70,000 miles... that's ALL the bad things about this car. Smooth engine, and transmission, and it will cruise all day at 65 mph and deliver 35-42 mpg depending on the terrain. I intended long ago to buy a newer one, but with the low mileage, and excellent physical condition...why? I'm aiming for 150,000, then I'll sell it. Highly recommended for frugal, reliable transportation.
