2023 AWD Platinum Rogue is a Great Balance
My last 2 vechicles were Mazda CX5s, loved them but new Mazda turbo isn't fuel practical at all. Bought my Platinum Rogue in July and went on 1100 mile trip across Fla. Cargo space was adequate and considerably more than CX. I found the 3 banger turbo performance perfect for merging and I only feel a lag when needing max acceleration between 75-85. With smart driving achieved 34 hwy, heavily packed and with 4 adults. *Smart driving, get into turbo too much and it will decline rapidly. Cons are often placed on Rogue for handling I do not agree. I find it similar to the sporty CX. Seats are way better than my last several cars and the interior feels rich and is very roomy and comfortable for my 6'1" 210 frame. Tech is good though I miss the Mazda's tech toggle on the console. AWD: delivers a feeling of control in Tropical Rains and while driving on the beach several times I found it VERY capable. We sat and watched from the condo balcony dozens of vechicles get stuck and need saving from rising surf so we reluctantly tried our luck. By weeks end I was searching for heavy sand that was giving jeeps a hard time, The Rogue navigated all challenges. I am hopeful it will handle the winter weather in mountains of Tennessee as well. So far, I love my Rogue. Ventilated seats and power mirrors should be included in Platinums hefty price tag aling with rear door locks but so far it has met or exceeded all expectations.

Issues with Cruise Control
I didn't get the updated intelligent cruise control in my 2023 Rogue. As I was going down hill with cruise on the vehicle accelerated and did not maintain speed set. Nissan said this is normal with the non intelligent cruise??? By definition cruise control is maintaining a set speed. I am looking into getting out of this car as soon as possible as Nissan will not fix the issue.

Third Rogue I have leased
With this latest vehicle upgraded to the SL in order to maintain the features we love and enjoy a few more. Had one minor service requirement which was not only handled quickly but also without charge. Very favorable opinion of Kingston Nissan Sales and service.

Wowww
I love the ride and the features for different road conditions I may encounter definitely a plus
Beautiful Car Inside and Out
So glad I bought this car. Has a ton of features you don't find together in one car (heads up display, dual moonroof, retractable window shades on the 2nd row, Quilted leather seats in both front and 2nd row, heated seats and steering wheel, and the huge navigation display - something awesome is you can flip the second row down from the truck and aftercyou waved your foot underneath to open the trunk. Fully loaded drives amazing and is so quiet inside. Looking forward to driving around in style.

As good as it gets (so far anyway!)
After reading umpteen different sites and magazines that review cars, I set out on a quest to test drive virtually every compact SUV before we purchased one. I love test driving anyway, so it was hardly an inconvenience. The Rogue was the fourth car we tried out, and it set a crazy high bar that remained throughout all the other test drives. Everything thereafter was just compared to the Rogue. "Pretty nice! But the Rogue was far quieter on this road" etc. At the end of test driving 14 vehicles, the Rogue remained on top. It's like Nissan had a checklist of things that need to be present/good and just went right down the line. The ride is serene. The seats are out of this world comfortable. The engine in Rogues used to sound pretty raspy, now it's smooth. Even the doors, apparently someone decided the doors needed to be quieter, because they close with just a quiet thunk. Sunshades in the second row? Got it. Heated seats and steering wheel? Check. Plenty of USB charging ports, both type C and A, check. Laminated glass on the driver/passenger sides? Check It really is humorous. They had to have had a list. And man, they didn't seem to leave any stone unturned. So far, it's been a seriously impressive car. It's crazy how competitive this segment is, they're all in such fierce competition that these little CUVs are turning into basically luxury cars. But hey, we all benefit. If you're looking for a compact SUV, test drive a bunch of them! You may think they're all basically the same, but that's absolutely not the case. The road noise of the RAV4 and the bumpy ride quality of the RAV4 were very shocking. So far, so good. Not too bad, Nissan. Not too bad.

Console
Center console design is impractical. The lid is a twin design split front to back. When open, the driver side doesn’t even open to 90 degrees. It forces you to lean towards the passenger seat to look down into the console.

Dying Car
I bought a Nissan Rogue platinum 2023 because I like its 360 degree parking camera. I found the interior appealing as well. It's perfect for a family of four. The only thing that I regret about buying this vehicle is its power system. Why? As early as 2 or 3 months after buying this car, the ignition system malfunctioned. The car was totally dead. And at this very moment, same thing happened. It's a sad reality that I am paying a mortgage to own a dying high end Nissan rogue.

Bluetooth failure
When using the Bluetooth for calling, I can be heard just fine, my passanger on the other hand can hardly be heard. I've been told that's a common complaint among some Rogue owners. Dealer says it's working the way it was designed. B.S. Microphone is just not picking up passanger side and that's by design???
First Nissan Product, ever.
Had a 2013 Subaru Outback that was totaled in a crash. I did consider another Outback but it didn't pass muster. I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue SL for several important reasons, with one no more important than any other. 1. Better fuel economy and power from the engine. The 1.5L three cylinder turbo engine produces 50 lb-ft more torque than the larger four found in the Subaru and at lower RPMs. Fuel economy is about 15% better than the Subaru and both vehicles are AWD. 2. The safety features are more intuitive and easier to use in the Nissan. 3. All controls such as climate, navigation, radio are dependent on a large touchscreen. If that fails, you are screwed. Nissan has separate buttons and knobs for climate and radio. Navigation is a combination of touchscreen and a knob as is audio. 4. The interior of the Nissan is more open and airy than the Subaru. The Nissan capacity to haul stuff is slightly less than the Subaru but the shape of the cargo area allows you to pack in more stuff. Outward visibility is pretty equal. 5. The Rogue is a better handling car hands down. It is more tossable on winding roads. It is also easier to park. A couple of recommendations. Tires. Get something better than the Bridgestone tires that come with the car. Secondly, put a K&N in place of the stock engine air filter. Major difference in power delivery including significant reduction in turbo lag.

Start stop feature. Just stop installing it
2023 midnight rogue. Overall pretty good Some design flaws though Auto start stop feature. Is useless. Can turn it off manually each time you start. But would be better to not have it at all Window controls in the wrong spot for me. Always hit the back windows. AC is ok. Nothing to great to cool on hot days Start button. Could be moved to a better location Electronic shift is here to stay unfortunately
Right Choice in the End
In 2018, I went shopping at an Enterprise used car place with my mind set on getting a used Rogue. I came away with a Ford and regretted it every day since. This time I held my ground and with the help of a great salesperson, Mohammad at Loyalty Nissan, I got the car I wanted in the first place.

Nissan missed the Mark
I ordered a 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum. Terribly disappointed that the vehicle does not have features that are very standard in other SUV's. The Platinum does not come with: - Homelike - Cooled Seats - Rain sensor wipers In any top end vehicle these items are standard. I didn't order a base model I ordered the top end Rogue. It cost me $750.00 to get Homelink installed. Nissan you missed the mark on high end.

Disappointed.
This is my 4th Rogue so obviously I have been very satisfied. Always went with SV. This one is a nightmare for me as there is no autoliftgate. I am about 5'4"" and struggle with reaching to close and for a woman it's quite heavy. I had rotator cuff surgery 10 years ago.and this is causing pain I haven't had in 10 years. I emphasized to salesman how important the power Gare was Had he stepped up and told me I could get it for an extra fee I would have. Now I really can't make use of the cargo space without causing more damage to.my shoulder. I am growing to hate this car that I always loved. I guess this is the end of Nissan for me. Sadly

Midnight Addiction
I read the reviews of gasoline smell. However, I know several friends with a 2022 or 2023 Rogue and none have had problems. So I decided to take the risk and test drive one. The dealer had a Midnight Edition in black. Blacked out rims, blacked out grill, blacked out insignia. It looks cool in black. It looks simply dumb in gray and white. The seats are more comfortable than my TV chair. I was pretty well sold before hitting start. It drives fine, audio is fine, safety features are very good. It is not a great value relative to other Rogues. The premium for Midnight is high ($1,700) relative to the differences. 0% financing made it cheap relative to other SUVs - saved about $8K on monthly payments vs. a 72-month Nissan loan. However, I got hooked on Midnight's looks and paid up.

Japanese assembled SUV
I test drove both Rogue SV, Japanese and USA assembled vehicles and the differences were night and day. Japanese made vehicles are superior! I leased the Japan Suv and so far no issues at 5000 miles. Drives much better than my 2018 Honda CRV.

Forward Collision Malfunction
December 2024 - Absolutely NOTHING from Nissan regarding this safety issue. DO NOT BUY A NISSAN. During a trip from Alberta to Saskatchewan (approx 1600 kms round trip) the forward collision light came on at least 2 dozen times (12 for sure on the return trip as we monitored it). Once the forward collision warning light comes on, the cruise control disengages. While I don't disagree with that happening, Nissan CANNOT tell me what the problem is, or more importantly, what they are doing to fix it. IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE!! Today on a 250 km trip (in light fog), the light came on at least 7 times (I may have missed one or two) with the longest being about 65 kms. Driving, in fog, without forward collision protection. Again, IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE!! I have advised family, friends and my lawyer, that should I be in a front end collision, to sue Nissan. Given I just purchased the Rogue in January 2024 and only have about 10,500 kms, if I trade it in, I'll take a beating. If I keep it, I feel I'm jeopardizing my life. I'd like to sell it privately, but it's not in my character to hide something as important as this. GET IT FIXED, NISSAN. NOW!!! If not, buy the effing thing back so I can get a real vehicle.

Very Happy
Comfortable, Quiet, Great Fuel Economy, No Problems, Lots of Standard Features that are extra on other models. Great deal we got a good discount above average trade value and 1.9 financing. Can't complain very happy so far. After 3 Subaru's we wanted to try something else we were scared of the subaru with no warranty, repairs are expensive but they were great cars.

NOOOO Very Disappointing, Loud, Cheaply Made
I don’t know where to begin w/this 1..I am heavily disappointed, underwhelmed, frustrated, and honestly a bit angry! I want my little blue 2017 VW Passat GTI back! My VW was 10xs the vehicle that this Nissan is, it was fast, extremely quiet, comfortable, had an amazing sound system and drove/performed like a dream compared to this brand new 2023 Nissan Rogue Midnight Edition (top of the line for this model), i cannot believe I bought this piece of cheap crap for $37k and will be paying $600 a month for the next 5 yrs on a vehicle that I truly cannot stand! I did test drive a different model, which now makes sense since that 1 was probably the quieter one, and seemed more comfortable and quicker?! I just didn’t do my research and didn’t compare to other SUVS in the same price range, size, trim, etc. Cause I think if I would have been shown other options I pretty much would have gone with any other brand! As I was driving this thing home I realized the CONS of this SUV very quickly and felt a very sick, awful feeling in my stomach that I had just bought a hunk of junk! An ugly, uninspiring, cheaply designed and the absolute worst accessories possible! The touch screen lcd monitor graphics are so poor and ugly, the stereo is stock, so very unimpressive, the engine is loud, it shifts weird, and the lane departure assist is sooooooo annoying! The roads around here are super skinny, and I typically ride the outer line, and the car keeps pulling to the left like it thinks I am going off the road. So scary, dangerous and terrifying. Apparently it sees the white line and pulls, cause I don’t ever go over it. My VW had the same option and never pulled like that. It would give a warning, if I was truly over the lines of the lane. The pulling could def cause an accident cause it is so unexpected and jarring. I literally jump everytime it does that. Also, I bought this thing for $37k and after researching it’s value or MSRP is at most $32k, so my VW trade in, they got it free pretty much! My VW only had 40k miles on it, was quick, comfortable, sporty, had an amazing sound system and attractive look. I really want to rewind time and go back to having my cute little blue VW! I am usually so excited and happy with my car purchases, but not this 1! I am left wondering why I was even considering this ugly thing. The headlights are not even in the right location! And they are tiny sliver like headlights. And I am so blind. I try to focus on the pros of this vehicle so I can sleep and eat, but there are so few. It’s roomy, it’s got a comfy driver seat, (not as comfy as my VW), it’s got a good safety rating, and hmmmm I was told it got 40 Mi to the gallon of fuel but it’s already down to 1/2 tank and I have only driven it 100mi. My VW blows this thing away with fuel efficiency. I can’t express how very disappointed I am with this whole deal, I feel so very sad and really just want my VW back. Or a different brand vehicle. Sorry Nissan but this Rogue is a bust it is a car to avoid for sure!

Great car sans the gas smell
Traded in my 2013 Rav 4 for a 2023 rogue sv. The interior is much nicer. Smoother lines and more high touch finishing overall. Average fuel economy to date is about 7.6 litre /100km.. Only gripe is the smell of gasoline in cabin after turning off and going back in car shortly after I read it's a quick fix though by just replacing fuel line Nissan will or should cover repair. Not a big deal I just put HVAC on circ.until smell leaves after a min or so Windshield wiper fluid also drips off wiper instead of squirting like most cars.

Sluggish unentertaining SUV
The infotainment system is horrendous, the engine and transmission are super sluggish. The interior feels very cramped and uncomfortable. So many false alarms in the driver assistance that I just turned everything I could off. Would never recommend this car to anyone that’s considering buying one

Never anything other than a Nissan Rogue!
This is the best auto I've ever driven. Not only the auto, but the Lancaster dealership. Awesone customer service!
Let down!
Imagine taking a much-needed summer trip with your family of four. It’s a busy summer week trying to squeeze in a long weekend with summer camps and family gatherings. To maximize your children’s opportunities to connect with peers and to create meaningful experiences you decide to leave late after camp on Thursday night. Then 150 miles into your trip- BANG- your one-year-old warranty backed vehicle suffers catastrophic engine failure. Your heart sinks. You put your trust in this company to transport your family hundreds of miles away, but they let you down. You’re on the side of the road, your kids are scared, your trunk is full, and you’re stuck the middle of nowhere with midnight approaching. That is precisely the situation I found myself in one July night. But not to worry, Nissan would take care of me, right? After all, the car was under warranty. Any cost incurred as a result of this engine failure ought to be covered. Or so I thought. Evidently Nissan has no interest in ensuring that you arrive at your destination safely, or that you can rely on their vehicles to transport you to and from your destination. And if you need to transport your inoperable vehicle to a dealership to be serviced- you’re on your own. The engine repair was covered, but the transportation costs incurred as a result of the failure were not. Nor were the rental costs for half of the time the vehicle was out of service. Nissan let me down again. I do not plan on giving them the opportunity to let me down a third time.

Paid a Premium price for an underwhelming suv.
While the Rogue is roomy, has great gas mileage and many safety features. The Rogue has shifting paddles, I am not sure why it’s an automatic. Things I miss: trunk opener on the key fob and inside the car, heated seats, leather seats, QI charging pad, privacy curtain for the cargo area, usb ports in the cargo area, fog lights.
