Survived a T-Bone airborne crash in a 2014 Rogue
I just survived in the back seat and my children who were in the front seat and drivers seat in a bad car crash where we were t-boned, flew backwards airborne and flipped on our side and we all walked away with the curtain airbags. I can't say enough how the safe the car was to keep us unharmed. I promptly went and bought a 2019 SL Rogue since the 2014 was totaled.

Cannot beat a Rogue
This is my 5th Nissan - 2 Pathfinders and now my 3rd Rogue. Wasn't even really considering a trade to a '19 till the safety features made me decide to (again). They introduced some extra bells & whistles that put it over the top for me. I am under 5ft and my husband is over 6ft we both are very comfortable. I admit they haven't really changed up the 'look' of the inside - I just traded my '14 which is a little disappointing, but now I have heated steering wheel, a load more of safety assist features, etc. Of all my Nissan products I have never experienced any major car troubles. Mileage is very good. And for being short visibility issues, seat/pedal issues are always something I need to be aware of and that is why I keep coming back to Nissan.

Great SUV For the Price
Test Drive the SV Or the SL trim and compaire the features on both, you get alot of things most others do not offer and the interior looks well made and higher quaility than others, Yes the engine is smaller but it is a compact SUV not a sports car! We get good MPG -24-25 in town and on the interstate 32-34 MPG at the legal speed limit, also on the SL trim the chrome accents set off the outside appearance. PART2 , We had the Nissan Rogue about 11 months now and we are very happy with it the SUV,it still runs great and looks new, we do keep in the garage and I wash it by hand, we live in California and they are messing with our gasoline again and so the mpg has gone down alittle, the only problem we had to date was the outside air temp. sensor went bad, I ordered one and put in myself. which took about 1/2 hour, also we have had some very hot weather and the A/C works great!I will do another review in the future 3-13-20 we had our Nissan for 16 months it has been good to us, overall great looks, one thing that we had on going is the Drivers seat clicks while moving in the car, I had it to the dealership 2 times, and they can not find the problem they said drive it and maybe it will get worse so they can hear it or feel it? We took a 800 mile trip through Ca. and averaged 32 MPG at 70 mph, in Arizona we got 35MPG with their gas! CA. gas stinks and the MPG goes down cause of all the crap they add to it! Thats the PITS also we have the highest price Gas in the US! We still like our Nissan Rogue!

Good SUV with one dangerous feature
The car has all the basic feature and runs smoothly on highway. I would give it a four star had it not had the issue with automatic emergency braking (AEB) . I have the 2019 model with the latest software. However, AEB has falsely engaged three times within less than a year. It's dangerous. There is no way to permanently disable the feature. I have seen people complaining about it all over the places.

NO GO Rogue
DON’T!!! Bought the 2019 SL brand new last September by October I hardly drove it, when the front crash indicator beeped and lighted up and the brakes was automatically engaged ( there weren’t any cars close to mine sideways or in front). Fast they were given two attempts to fix this issue and could not, then last month they proceeded to tell me it was normal (I let them have it), I told Nissan of North America if their top guy wanted to call me and tell me that I will tape our conversation. I then took it to a different dealership for a third try, one week later the issue resurfaced. Now after placing my life in danger for all these months they give options for them to buy it back, replace it, or I keep it and they give me $2000. I told them to buy it back so I could buy a vehicle that will not cause me anxiety when I need to go to work ( I was held hostage by Nissan of North America).

pretty good vehicle overall
I have 61000 miles on my 2016 Rogue SV AWD. It is fantastic in snow, great traction, especially when I purchased Michelins at 40,000 miles. My one biggest peeves is the windshield wipers in cold weather. I have replaced 3 sets of wiper blades. The wipers are slightly recessed below the hood level, resulting in a "trench" where snow and ice incapulates the wiper blades. If you don't remove everything by hand, the wipers will break off. Its recessed to the point where you cannot stand the blades up while not driving the car, which you can on several other vehicles. Nissan could fix this by having heated blades or raising the blades a bit. The only other problem is the headlights, OMG! They are awful. I would not buy this suv unless Nissan changes the headlights. If on low beam, especially if raining, you cannot see the road.

Lot of car for the money...
A comfortable ride. Nice seats. Excellent navigation and stereo system. Car rides good. The acceleration in sports mode is ok. Not do in echo or regular mode. Mileage is average. Gas tank only takes a little over 14 gallons. Safety is excellent. I survived a crash... right front end where car was totaled with only bruised ribs.
2014 Rogue
I have 122,000 on my 2014 Rogue SV and would buy it again. It is comfortable, has ample space and strong ride quality. I have spent a total of 40 dollars on repairs aside from tires and breaks so very pleased from that standpoint. The car is great in the snow. The only drawback is the headlights which are very bad on low beam, espectially in the rain.

This is my second Rogue and I love it!
I recently turned in my leased 2016 Nissan Rogue SV with premium package for leased a 2019 Rogue SV with premium package. I never had an issue with my 2016 and it was the most comfortable SUV in it's class for me. My last Rogue cut through winter weather like a butter knife. So it just made sense to get another one. The seats are amazingly comfortable and acceleration is fine for me. The Pro Pilot Assist is an amazing feature that I use frequently. Also, the interior of my '19 is a huge improvement in every way over my '16 except for the seat fabric. I hate leather and my old one had more of a velour feel where as this fabric isn't as soft.

A lot of car for the money
Nissan has manufacturer incentives as nd a very attractive money factor for leasing. Excellent safety features. Good audio system. Seats are comfortable. Needs more leg room on front passenger. Vented front seats would be nice. Overall a very nice SUV

Tons of features, needs more spunk
This vehicle by far has more safety features and bells and whistles than any vehicle I have ever owned. For the price, I believe it has the most bells and whistles than any other vehicle in its class. The few things I think it lacks is, a peppy "feeling"engine, It does have plenty of power, just not "torquey" feeling in 1st and 2nd like many might like....also road noise is just slightly more pronounced than you might like, but that may be the factory tires, which I plan on changing for the winter snow here in central Oregon. Overall we really like the Rogue, it has only been 2 weeks of ownership so far. We purchase it for the safety features, the size, the mileage and the Nissan reputation , as we have owned multiple Nissans.

Rogue Infotainment center
The Rogue (regular size SUV with good trim) "infotainment" and dashboard and radio controls are simple to operate. There are clearly labeled physical buttons and redundant touch screen controls. Figured it out in a minute or two. Also Nissan has CD players (and blue tooth) just in case you have $100's of CD that you don't want to move to another media. Test drove the 2021 Rogue and it also very nice car but no CD player. Recent years Camry's was cryptic to operate at least for a new user.

Not reliable problems persist
Since the first month of ownership. Problems started which comes occasionally which cannot be taken to the dealer to fix. Vibration from the passenger seat which the dealer says it’s common and they cannot fix which we cannot find in some other rouges due to this some sounds coming from the doors and some time sound comes under the gears box. Cannot take off from the red light like 1 or 2 sec hesitation. Judder sound when traveling at constant speed. Some times motor is blowing harder. And ticking sound from both back side’s. All this are occasionally which are not duplicated by dealer. I have rouge before for 6 months never had this problems in that. Called to Nissan North America they are useless they don’t care about coustmers. They trust there dealers. Do not by Nissan they are known for less resale value and very popular for transmissions failures. All I can say no pice of mind with Nissan that’s for sure.

Better than I expected
On August 5, 2019, my employer bought a new Rogue for our use. For a very basic errand running and light hauling vehicle, I've enjoyed it's limber handling, shorter overall length, and fairly peppy performance. If this were my personal vehicle, then, I'd definitely add a power seat option (the manually adjustable cushion doesn't support well), sunroof, alloy wheels, and a power rear lift gate. The rear camera is not very sharp. I'm fine with the cloth interior as I'm not interested leather without ventilated seats. And, for a Nissan, it's rather attractive given their eccentric design language. Would I buy one for myself? Maybe...

Car stalls
My car has stalled twice now while driving. Can you imagine driving down a highway and all the sudden you can’t give it gas and having now to find a place to pull over. . So your safety is at risk when this happens. I wouldn’t recommend buying just on my experience so far not till they find out why it stalls.

Reliable & Visibility Issue is fixable
Initially 4 stars…only because I needed to overcome the blind spot issue. Was scary. Once resolved it is 5 stars. Driver training resolved it. Knowing how to set the Rogue rear view mirrors makes for nearly NO blind spot. Plus there is the blind spot sensor and light flashing light that flags if a vehicle is there. I have been driving a Rogue for 5 years now. Love the great turn radius. Makes it so much fun to drive. I first bought a Rogue to tackle the mountain drive up skiing and for a mountainous daily work commute. Weather included ice, rain, and snow for a 40 minute commute going up and down windy mountainous highway and dirt roads. I used all weather tires and studded snow tires. Had no troubles. Felt safe while carefully in command of the road. I know a AWD can slide right the road; so, getting daring is not my thing. Not seeing a Rogue in top 10 reviews is disappointing. So I searched to see why. The quality of my interior has held up. I am just one person not a family. Dark interiors do show dirt easier. But look great when cleaned up.

Going Rogue
So far at almost 45,000 miles I have had no issues. A recent transmission fluid change, and it is good to go. I also changed the spark plugs myself, as they are very easy to change. The cabin doesn't make you feel confined. This is not a high-performance vehicle, don't compare it to a Vette or Mustang. I don't find it underpowered; it may not go from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds, but it does the job well enough to be enjoyable, not as underwhelming or sluggish as the experts claim. On the highway it is quiet, I don't find it noisy at all. I like that the 2.5L is a multiport, versus the newer DI engines. I prefer not to have a turbo charged engine. The 2.5L has been very reliable and dependable. I have had Camaros, Mustangs etc., but at this point in my life I will take dependability over performance. Plenty of room for cargo if needed. Compared to the earlier CVT transmissions, Nissan's Xtronic so far has not had any issues. I get a lot of compliments on the Midnight Pine Metallic color. I purchased an Android Auto Adapter and no longer need to plug my phone in for GPS. It would be nice if the Rogue had an integrated garage door feature, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I also don't find the dash dated as some reviews claim. The blind spot alarms are an added plus. Around town I have average 24 mpg, I haven't had it on any lengthy trips yet to comment on highway mileage. Weatherwise it has been dependable as far as traction goes. So far it is a keeper, I tend to keep my cars for many years, my last one was 18 years old. As an update . . . I have installed Nissan fog lights and a HomeLink mirror which has the garage door feature. My highest mileage to date is 35 mpg.

Very Safe Vehicle
We were recently involved in a T-bone crash and our 2018 Rogue was spun around into a telephone pole. Had it not been for the side curtain airbags, our injuries would have been much worse. Due to the way our Rogue protected us, we replaced our totaled Rogue with a 2019 Rogue. Great vehicle!
Technology NOT friendly
I traded my 2019 Rogue SL after 8 months and only 2;300 miles. I hated the Sirius radio screen. Too jumbled up. Also my two favorite channels were BLOCKED. Ever try to get thru to Sirius? Forget it. I also didn’t like that the driver’s seat did not slide back until you opened the door. The heated seats rocker switch is located on the gear shift assembly in front of the console storage area........was always accidentally turning them on. The emergency locator on both key fobs stopped working after 5 months. The “Rogue” emblem piece on the back hatch that lifts to get to the subfloor was coming unglued. The entire technology package is definitely not user friendly. Got out of this car as soon as I could.

Horrible on snowy roads
The only reason I purchased a Nissan Rogue was to have an SUV that I could get around upstate NY in during the winter. I have top of the line snow tires on and this vehicle is horrible in the snow. I have driven many SUVs in upstate NY for the past 40 years and this is by far the worst. The awd never seems to be on and you can't drive more than 10 mph on snowy, slushy roads without the back end kicking out even with the useless AWD lock button on. There is a good 4-5 inches of snow on the roads in winter and you can't safely drive over 10 mph or make a turn going more than 5 mph. So the awd lock button is useless when everyone else is able to go 55 and you're struggling to do 26 and not get rear ended for driving so slow. I hate that you have no control over the AWD. It feels like it's in front wheel drive all the time on horrible roads and the back end is always kicking out. It says the awd will kick on when it feels the tires slip. If you lose traction and are sliding, you are already screwed and the awd kicking on is pointless at that time as you careen off the road. If you want this suv for dry roads, then it's great if you don't mind the loud transmission. I have had the 2019 Rogue since January 2020 and I can't wait to get rid of it. I will not drive it in another winter. I want to feel safe and not have to drive at a drastically slower speed than everyone else. You might as well be in a little car with bald tires. That's how this Rogue handles the road.

Great compact SUV - great value & reliability!
I purchased the '19 SV with the technology package new. This is my 4th Nissan and my second Rogue (previous vehicle '15 SV which was also bought new and currently driven by my niece). '19 has a lot of nice upgrades including the pro pilot assist (not perfect but definitely helpful on road trips) - very comfortable front and back seats, good gas mileage, rides nice on the highway - great car for the money. I selected the Scarlet Ember paint and I still get compliments periodically. Haven't done a long road trip yet but plan to this winter. My only complaint with prior Nissans has been poor paint quality - hopefully they've improved this in the newer models.

I Love Love Love My 2019 Nissan Rogue SV AWD
I bought this 1 year used at a local dealer with under 18k miles. It was an Enterprise Rental Car originally. I have been so happy with this vehicle. The features, style and price were a perfect match for me. I can't believe how spacious it is, and how much cargo I can carry. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I could find the same deal, but I don't think that will happen since COVID it seems inventory is way down and prices up.

Not a drivers car, made for zombies
The rogue has many comfort features to like. But so man of the lauded aspects of it are just frustrating failures. The big glass roof is just a joke. Sunroof will only popup because it can't recede due to glass roof, useless waste of $$. The active safety constantly beeps And whines at the driver. You have to override the adaptive cruise control to get it to work like a real car otherwise your trailing a block behind the nearest car ahead and dropping back everytime another car takes that space. The power train is a failure. CVT should not even exist. The Durango V6 gets 30mpg hiway using an 8 spd transmission that is responsive and safe. When pulling out into traffic in the Rogue you are taking your life in your hands. The drive train just seems to release when you Push it for that extra power in a tight situation. I could never own one of these until they fix the drive train.

How Matters - Do not buy unless you like issues
Do not buy unless you like issues and spending hours talking to a non-responsive customer service. Just about all vehicles have issues but how you deal with them makes or breaks a company. Nissan customer service has just dropped off a cliff with software related issue that cannot be solved. Dealer told me to call Nissan customer service but now after 8 trips the dealer and nearly 8 hours talking to Nissan they are submitting my issue to engineering... Seriously? No customer should have to endure 8 hours talking to customer service (800 #) to have get a problem looked at by engineering when its repeatable and the dealer can make it happen. Nissan USA used to have great customers service but its now some of the awful and horrid customer service ever. Making dealers and customers waste their time jumping through unnecessary hoops to solve of the most basic solvable and repeatable issues is the worst I've seen from a vehicle manufacture in 20 years and from Nissan ever. I would highly... highly recommend that potential buyers look for a non-Nissan vehicles until they sort our their customer service issues. Until then, they seem to be focused on selling new cars and not making customers happy by solving simple annoying features that don't work.

This is by far the nicest car I have owned. It has lots of passenger room. We travel to soccer and basketball tournaments and league games nearly every weekend and the boys have plenty of room to stretch out. The seats are comfortable and if you pack it right there is plenty of room for folding chairs, cooler, luggage, and sports gear. I get 30 - 31 mpg on the highway. I have a really long torso which makes most cars hard to see out of and in a lot of cars my head actually rubs the headliner. I have a great view and plenty of room and no trouble getting in and out. This is my first Nissan. It will likely not be my last.

2019 nissanrogue sv awd
Great car! Comfortable, roomy, easy ride, great features and plenty of room! ONLY drawback is Intermittent abs warning AND intermittent hesitation on acceleration!
For us (2 people....), perfect!
Other SUVs, I have owned in the past were are designed for 3+ families. Too BIG for a couple, and smaller parking spaces... The size of a Nissan Rouge works well and is full-featured too!
2019, exclusive 3 row AWD
We have acquire this 2019, at end of 2019 with a very good deal price, after some issues with the delivery car condition, have no claims, it drives smoothly and quiet, seat comfort is great, all safety features are great, and aware you any potential incident, the 360 degree camera system is awesome, and you get use very soon

NEW VEHICLE PARKED IN DRIVEWAY
Purchased a 2019 Rogue Sport. 6 days later radiator fan dies. 61,204 KMS. Dealer laughed on the phone and say 'Sorry bud but no warranty your past 60,000 KMS so your [non-permissible content removed] out of luck. His exact words. I don't care about that what the big problem is been waiting almost 3 months , vehicle parked . Dealer has on back order, after market back order, nothing used because such an issue they cant make them fast enough. This is our first Nissan and will be the last. The second I replace that fan I will be trading it in.
Very smooth and comfortable ride. Is it reliable?
Drove Kona, Cr-V and RAV-4 before driving the Rogue. Kona was great but small and overpriced. RAV4 was the worst. Its crazy that an average SUV like RAV4 sells just because of Toyota brand. CR-V was nice but no tech features in LX model. Rougue SV has everything I needed. Very smooth comfortable ride. Spacious and comfortable inside with upscale feel. Tons of standard tech and safety features.Good fuel efficiency. I am liking it so far. Only time will tell if this will last for along time like my Toyotas and Hondas have.

Love lost
I have a 2010 ½ Rogue SL. This is the first (I am 50 years old) car I have ever felt attached to. It has been a wonderful car in so many ways. First, I have just over 177,000 miles on it. Some of those miles have been trips around the country, from Texas to New York, Miami, Indiana twice and across Texas through Colorado. Aside from those, most of the miles have been 10-20 mile trips. The mileage has been 26 mpg from the first day to the last. It has never required any repair - not one!! I have changed the tires and the battery twice, the spark plugs, and recently the brakes. I have however, changed the oil religiously every ~4000 miles. I had the body repaired 3 times: front, side and rear end (all minor). After all that, what really impressed me was the performance of the car recently when I was severely rear ended. I was hit fairly straight on, but it was hard enough to crush the trunk so that the license plate is only half visible. And that was ALL it did; we were not hurt at all and I feel that the car was amazing in holding it's own. I have always been amazed at the way the car has taken it's bumps and bruises. The Bose sound system is a complete joke and the leather seat wore out from getting in and out. It gets 140+ inside the car for hours at a time and everything else has held up beautifully. Besides the oil changes, I am pretty rough and don't baby my car. It is in the shop and I had to rent a car. I asked for a Rogue SL and got a 2019 with about 18,500 miles. It is very much the same as mine with a much better camera and the drift warning, with likely more features I don't know about yet. If mine is totaled, I will stick with another Rogue.

Nothing impressive
I only got this SUV because of the awesome Texas Longhorn Orange color, so I shouldn't complain. The warranty is basic and I should have gone with a Hyundai Kona instead. I have only 37K miles and in need of new tires already, even though I've taken in for regular service and tire rotations. My first Nissan after owning Toyota's for the last 15 years and not impressed.
