Nissan Poor Technology
If you own or buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SL, and if your Pathfinder has the option "Hands Free Lift-Gate", you can not install a trailer (AKA Tow Hitch Receiver). Makes no difference if it is a Nissan hitch or a generic hitch. If you do install, the vehicle Nissan warrant will be void. Believe me I tried every avenue even contracting Nissan by Case #42431832. I now own a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SL and cannot move my boat trailer or utility trailer. What is Nissan thinking???
2nd pathfinder with ABS light and electrical issue
I have owned 2 new pathfinders. 2019 and 2020. The 2019 had several recalls for CVT transmission and ABS actuator light. Nissan did not have the part made for the 2019 recall issue. I was with out my vehicle for over 45 days. Now my 2020 has started with the same issues.

Two week trip pain free
Recently rented a 2020 Pathfinder for a two week trip to Denver from Prov., RI. I have back issues and was concerned as I often experience pain after two hours or less of driving. I tried the Pathfinder and several other Mid-sized SUV's in dealer lots before deciding on the Pathfinder. It was a good choice and after a 4,900+ round trip it will be top of our list when we replace my wife's car next July. Lots of room for luggage and gifts on the way out and for carrying up to six people to a wedding site in the mountains when there. If you want a three row SUV, you should look at this car. Comfort and styling are great.

Great Value and cool body design
got my 2019 SL Rock Creek Edition, great value and the rock creek edition is pretty cool style. this is my second pathfinder, I love the Bose sound system, especially its great on a weekend road trip! The only thing is they need to update the Apple Play into the Vehicle!

Good ride at good price
I purchased the 2020 Pathfinder SL Rock Creek edition, which is slightly slimmer than the regular models. It rides great and the options it has are great, especially the Bose speakers. The only options I wanted was bluetooth and leather seats, so unfortunately, the lowest model with leather seats is the SL. Though the dashboard does look a little dated, compared with other auto brands, I like it for its simplicity. My one gripe with Nissan is not including Google Play or Apple Play options, given that these are relatively old technology that many other brands include in their models. It's almost like Nissan wants to force you to use their map option, which is OK at best. It rides well, and I love the black trims that this model comes with. This is my 3rd Nissan and so far I've enjoyed all of them.

Seven Hour Learning Experience
Drove 2020 Pathfinder from San Diego to San Francisco. The Infotainment system kept me busy up I-5 from Magic Mountain to Altimont Pass. Only the basic functions were intuitive. Didn't find Trip Reset activator until I returned the rental. Mileage, Performance, G-Pulls, Eco-Helper, all very convoluted. Leather front seats felt overly hard, imagine bleachers, after two hours. Good acceleration, cargo space limited to to rise in rear seats. Impressive 28.5 MPG on mostly freeway driving. Would lean towards Explorer, or the classy value driven Telluride.
My 3rd Pathfinder!!!
Went down from an SL to an S to lower my monthly wasn’t easy but had to!!! Don’t have the bells and whistles anymore but driving wise it’s still a great SUV to drive,

Rock Creek Old Technology!
If you are buying this vehicle in Canada remember you are buying a US based vehicle. GPS is not very good and you must purchase an update as it is out of date upon purchase. Update is in $US. Adding insult to injury the shipping fee is US$30 but free to US owners and the latest update is the last one available. The dealer did offer to pay for the shipping. Nissan Canada explains the mapping is a US based company. Fan motor is weak. Try to warm up in a cold winter with the heater from this vehicle. Takes far too long. Perhaps it is not designed for northern US or Canadian winters. Customer service did little to resolve my issues. Hopefully they fix these problems for future models. Will be my first and last Nissan.

OK - not great
Went back and forth whether to take the last year of a Pathfinder or Murano or a first year of the new 2022 Pathfinder model. Wish I had NOT taken this 2020. After just 40,000 miles it needs a new AC compressor (not covered) and 4 new tires - I used to get 80-90,000 miles on tires. Now that I have driven the 2020 Pathfinder for about 40,000 miles so far I do love the power of the engine, the traction and utility. Yes the electronics are a little outdated but overall its fine. Do I envy the owners of the new model Pathfinder? Yes. Another issue with Nissan - why does the power passenger seat sit so low and only offer a 4 way power option on any of the models?

Surprised by the SUV - So far so good
Update 8/13/24 - No additional repairs needed. Everything is still working as desired. nearly 68,000 miles. Looks like new inside and out. Still enjoy driving!!! Update 2/11/24 - The Pathfinder is still great. Interior shows no signs of wear - nearly 62,000 miles. Did have to repair the adaptive cruise control and both front window motors/regulators. But, it runs awesome. No other issues!!! The repairs were disappointing but again, still like how it runs and drives. Update - 8/10/23 - The Pathfinder is still a great SUV. MPG is still awesome - the CVT has not shown any issues. I did have the fluid changed and will continue to do so every 25,000 miles, so hopefully that will help make it last longer!!! Otherwise, we have over 55,000 miles and the interior is not showing any wear or tear at all. I do still wish that Nissan made a software update for the infotainment system so it would work with Apple CarPlay. Purchased the SUV in July of 2022, finding used SUV's was still a challenge due to COVID. This was previously a Rental vehicle from Nevada. First Nissan that I have owned. It comes well equipment. Drives really nice. The tech in the SUV is old, does not have ApplePlay or Android Auto. The whole thing is overly busy. Once, you get used to it, it's not terrible but still is an overall negative. Another small but difficult thing is the lock and unlock buttons for the doors are very small. The gas mileage is amazing for such a large SUV. The seats are very supportive and look as if they will last a long time.

Nice SUV
Had to purchase a vehicle easy to get in and out of. The Nissan Pathfinder Platinum has most of the bells & whistles I liked in previous luxury vehicles. It doesn’t have auto windshield wipers, which was a total surprise, but not a big deal. It also doesn’t have driver controls to fold in the side mirrors - this is a real pain! I have to drive close to our mailbox and have to manually snap mirror in to get close and then out. Guess I’m spoiled. Also, the side mirror on drivers side is sometimes in my way when making a tight left turn - never had this in a vehicle before! This is such an issue that if I had noticed this before I purchased, I would not have bought this vehicle.
