Used 2016 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
Very impressive
I bought my Maxima 3.5 SL on 8/31/15. Love this car there is enough power for a 300hp engine it's a blast with putting in Sport mode. It is comfortable with zero gravity seats like panoramic sunroof and LED lights. This car handles well love options and features for a very nice car seems affordable and built to last it's kind of reliable vehicle. It's supposed get 30mile per highway I have literally been driving my car for 2,000miles averaged trip computer says 31.4 mpg as check actual fuel economy it gets. The Maxima does look stylish very happy with my new car purchase so outstanding looking the new interior is design better all the quality materials are well-fitted especially worth money in getting this car no issues but keep in mind that it's still a new car so can give details but all I know I picked an good looking car.

Cool & Gorgeous!
If you want a 4 door sedan that's cool, yet chic, yet practical, yet sporty & fun to drive ... you should test drive the 2016 Maxima! If you don't necessarily want a convertible, the SL has the double panoramic sunroof! It really is the 4 door sports car they say it is! Love it! I did have to learn to duck my head a little to get in (I'm tall & wear heels!), and it does not get the great gas mileage as my Altima but it's not a deal breaker because it's still good. (Believe me, I don't buy gas guzzlers no matter how much I like the car!) Try it out!

My Maxima is the MAX.
The Maxima is a great car. I only have 660 miles on my Maxima SL, and already love it. It is a great value considering the equipment included. The SL is so well equipped, that there are no option packages. Everything that is optional are individual items. The fit and finish is something you would expect to see in a Lexus, Acura, Cadillac, etc. If I were to say anything negative, I would say the Maxima never quite lived up to the 4DSC label, and the new 2016 is no exception. Despite this, the car is fast (well composed at high speeds), handles very well, and is a great driving experience. I have had my Maxima on two road trips, and hoped neither would come to an end.

2016 Nissan Maxima
I bought this car Dec 27 2015. In 2017 I need to replace a tie rod on the front passenger side of the vehicle. Nissan did replace this because it was under warranty. When I had the tie rod replaced i told them about it and they said nothing was wrong. Last year 2018 I started to feel my car lose power and start jerking while accelerating between 60-80 MPH. I took it to Nissan Feb 2019 they said you need a new transmission. 1 day later they said oh your car is done! All they had to do was replace the Valve Kit. I said are you sure? She said yes. As i am pulling out of the dealership at low speeds NO Acceleration at all and jerking. I said let me give it a week to see it the car needs to adjust. The rep called me 1 day later and asked how it was i explain to her the issue. She said wait a week. So I did, the car is making a horrible noise that was not there when i took it in and still jerking. The rep told me looks like we are going to replace the transmission. Which they should have done from the beginning. IT is now 2/22/2019 and my car is still in the shop. Nissan is going to do it because its under warranty but i think its horrible that this is going on. I have had a 1998 Nissan Maxima, 2001 Nissan Altima, 2007 Nissan Altima, 2009 Nissan Maxima with no issues. So I buy a BRAND NEW car with 5 miles on it and this happens. SMH. Nissan needs help or needs to recall these transmissions.
