2024 Nissan Frontier Consumer Reviews

LOVE THIS TRUCK!!
I always said I would never own a truck until I drove the 2024 Frontier PRO-4X! This truck is amazing, I have driven all the others, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, Dodge and they all suck in comparison. The PRO-4X has all the bells and whistles. The only complaint I have is the auto start/stop feature is a pain as the default setting is on. They have that backwards.

'Maybuy' with improvements.
Nice to have a non-turbo option for a truck. Required for me to purchase; Back seat needs to be long term (ride) comfortable for adults. Question of carbon buildup due to Direct Injection (requires additional non-standard maintenance). Add Port Injection? Reports of paint peeling since 2017 (needs a comprehensive exstensive paint warranty against peeling).

power steering is awful ,gas mileag of a 454 Chevy
some of the control buttons are hard to find, power steering needs strong arm, it's not for anyone with shoulder issues , being a retired semi driver i can park a semi easier, city gas mileage over 7.000 miles averages 13.7 city, the Michelin primacy tires all had bead leaks the Nissan dealer wouldn't do anything about the leaks. the radio fails to keep key off memory ,goes to where ever it wants on restart, dealer told me normal live with it,

Time will tell.
I had 3 prior SV Frontiers. This 2023 SV is not as good, no heated seats, no rails in the pickup bed for tie downs and adjusting the bed extender, in fact no way to put in a bed extender. Smaller engine and you can hear and feel it. The interior dimensions are a little smaller, the seats are narrower, not as much room behind the back seats to store things. My 3 prior Frontiers ran for over 250,000 miles with not much trouble. I think the 3 prior Frontiers handled weight in the bed much better. I do like the exterior styling better and it does get better gas mileage, but that does not matter if it is not as good of a truck. The old Frontiers were truck, trucks. This is not. If this 2023 Frontier does not go the distance I won't buy another. So you pay a LOT more and get less.
Depends what you are looking for.................
I took one out for a test drive and here are my thoughts. I rides, well...like a truck. Most new trucks like RAM have a very smooth ride almost like a car. The Frontier has a harsh and choppy feel to it. If you like that feeling and plan on doing some off-roading than it might be for you. If you are looking for the utility of a truck but a smooth and comfortable ride than this is not the truck. Also, as the other reviews state, the back seat is cramped.
