1994 Nissan Altima GXE 4dr Sedan

Almost had serious accident caused by
my 94 Altima engine distributor
problem in Nov. 2002. The 94 Nissan
Altima has high failure rate of its
engine distributor. If your car is
among those, the distributor could
cause the engine to stall ALL of
sudden when you are driving. The
immediate results will be, the power
steering stops working,
the foot brake stops working. I had to
pull the hand break HARD to avoid a
car accident.

After spent $550 to replace a new
distributor. The car has been running

Best Features

Good Acceleration. Fun to drive.

Worst Features

1) Often wipe and clean the distributor area, because the 94 Altima distributor could have engine oil leak into the distributor to disable the computer chip inside. 2) If the engine starts to have light chocking, check the car ASAP. Mention the distributor issue to the mechanics.
