Cabin noise is atrocious

Purchased a 2024 SEL Outlander in February. On most roads the tire noise and wind noise is terrible. It wasn't noticeable during thevtest drive. Difficult to enjoy this vehicle. I highly recommend taking a extensive road test. The seating is comfortable and plenty or tech.

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander ES 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl CVT)

2023 outlander ES AT 9 months rear differential went. Had to be towed to dealership then waiting 2 months for repair.. 2 months later leak in the front axel seal which was transmission fluid.. took month and half to repair.. now a few weeks later and having transmission issues.. feels like a standard car that is going to stall. Don’t know how long g this will take to fix.. tire that came on in are crap blew the tire in the first three months and no spare tire… needless to say a trade is in the very near future and will never purchase from them again! Stay clear!

Underwhelming

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander ES 4dr SUV (2.5L 4cyl CVT)

I didn’t like the ergonomics, the layout for the center console, or the control configuration on the steering wheel. The seat was comfortable and offered good support for long distance driving without crippling my back, so that’s worth a star all by itself. Your mileage may vary. I absolutely hated the cruise control. Climbing a mountain I found myself going ten mph under the set speed because the cruise control was already commanding maximum power and the engine couldn’t maintain speed. Fair is fair; there were four people in the vehicle and all of our baggage for a weekend. Respectable enough performance for a four cylinder. Coming down the other side, however, I looked down and found myself going TWENTY!!!!! mph over the set speed. If you programmed the car to the speed limit and didn’t keep a watchful eye on it, that’s a pretty hefty speeding ticket. If you programmed it to speed a little, depending on its ability to maintain speed within an mph or two and the forbearance of the local constabulary, you’d be at a serious risk of being arrested for reckless driving.

Impressive ride

This SUV has been everything I hoped it would be. The engine and transmission is perfectly suited to my driving style. I might not win drag races but that's not why I purchased this vehicle. It accelerates smoothly and achieves merging speeds without causing any concerns. The exterior is quite impressive looking good and not a carbon copy of all the other SUVs in its class. It feels and drives much larger than it looks. The interior is impressive as well. The materials look top notch. There is almost every option you could desire to make your driving experience a pleasurable and safe experience. The audio system is not the highest quality system made but it does the job. I didn't buy the vehicle to listen to music I bought it to get me from point A to point B as safely and comfortably as possible. I rarely turn on my radio anyway. I am thoroughly satisfied with this vehicle at this point of my ownership.

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander SE 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl CVT)

I bought a 2023 Outlander SE after being exhausted trying to find a decent used SUV & other new SUVS are so expensive! BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Since One day of owning 5/4- The alignment was messed up I took it in to have it fixed today 5/5 the cameras stopped working, the stereo speakers sound blown, there is a rattling sound in the dash, the brakes feel weird, there is a burning wire/rubber smell now, it kept pulling to the right, driver assist, lane assist, steering assist works when it wants to, wiper speed on automatic turned to the lowest is too fast it obviously doesn’t have a decent sensor. I just know the light wiring is going to have Recalls I had a truck that had LED lights put in the wires started burning it had the same smell. it sitting running sounds like a lawn mower, definitely has no power they could have at least put a vtech turbo 4 cylinder the current 4 cylinder it has you can definitely tell don’t try passing anyone you wouldn’t be able to, the transmission feels like it slips or something. I have a maxima with a v6 xtronic cvt and it has 205k miles still runs perfect. I wanted a 2020 pathfinder but couldn’t find one, & the new Nissans are crazy priced! There are so many things wrong with this Outlander that I’m going to actually go backwards and trade it because I drive 3-5k miles a month and don’t want to risk breaking down or having issues 24/7 & it’s best to just trade now while there is less than 400 miles. I took it on a mini road trip & thankfully I did before I do my monthly 2000 mile trip because the problems for a Brand New vehicle are unreal. I would think twice before buying this. Seriously get a better brand used SUV don’t go off looks but mechanics. I wish I would have kept looking & read reviews first. I’m beyond frustrated & aggravated. I’m really upset, I’m going to have to do a trade and lose money on something I purchased 24 hours ago but has too much going on. This suv is not it. The SE is very basic too 6 speakers, passenger seat is manual, 3rd row what 3rd row? no spare tire, no storage space, my daughters new Acura integra is bigger , more durable, drives 100X better I am actually going to try to trade for one. I can tell the quality difference and drives like a quality car should, it’s heavier made, you feel like you’re going to blow over in the outlander. It’s very poor all the way around I think it’s time Mitsubishi gives up on making vehicles they’ve not made anything reliable since the old school lancers. They really need to just sell out to Acura, or Toyota and stop- they’re only going to upset more people than make happy. I hope nobody gets in such a mess of buying a poorly made vehicle. Please read the bad reviews- the good ones are more than likely paid for reviews there is absolutely nothing positive to say about this outlander. The 2020 pathfinder is a great year if you can find one with lower miles, the MDX, the integra, Lexus, murano are reliable and better do your research, read reviews, recalls & complaints I wish I would have
