Excellent
Love it. SEL model with Touring package. Wow. Such a comfortable ride and loaded with equipment. Drives like a dream.

Awful in snow and hood
I loved my car when i bought it. The hood raises when driving down highway. Very distracting. Outlander is jyst awful in the snow. I am so frustrated. I have less then 5000 miles on vechical and i want to trade it in. Its inside is mych better then performance for sure.

She’s a bit whiny
I just purchased the Red Diamond SEL, and I good tell ya, I absolutely love the look of this thing, but it’s a Love hate relationship… The sound that CVT makes is loud and extremely annoying, especially for a brand new car with its looks… Even when it’s warmed up befo re taking off. Not to mention the hood flutters like chattering teeth above 55, or strong winds, but I still love the look of it.. Remote start is a little on the lag side, black accents in and out, even on the rims is easily scuffed and/or scratched… Rather they placed projector headlights for a more focused cut-off other than open house reflectors that scatters the light a bit into oncoming traffic… As you can see I have an eye for detail so I’m picky about a few things others may overlook… she’s not that fast but have decent amount of speed…

Fit just right!
I looked at Mitsubishi because of the warranty. I love the lifetime engine warranty my dealer gives. Tried all of the SUV's except the Outlander sport because we need the back cargo room for my wife's wheelchair. The only one it fit in was the Outlander. Now I can get it to fit into a little car but I wanted the convenience of not taking it apart or laying on its side. Just put the third row down and it fit right in. Drives great, engine is fine for me because I dont need to get to 100 in 5 seconds. When I was driving home from the dealership I did notice the hood moving. I do mostly highway driving so I hope Mitsubishi fixes this soon but I am confident the hood will not just fail and fly up, I hope.
