Don’t do it.
Bought my car in August 2021. Nothing but issues and excuses. Hood Flutter took 6 months to get replaced. Radio and navigation system failure. Waited 3 months to get repaired. Fuel pump recall. PC had to be reprogrammed. Didn’t tell me why. Then 2 weeks after getting it back. The engine malfunctioned and had to go back to the dealer again. Called Mitsubishi multiple times and never cared to help. Would love to make them buy it back. Talking to an Attorney. Car has been to the dealer 7 times in less than 9 months. Currently on hold again with Mitsubishi for more than 25 minutes. Yesterday was 20 minutes and then put on hold and transferred without being told to someone’s voicemail. Left message and no return call. Car is junk.

Great suv !! Overall
I been driving my brand new Outlander 2022 for almost 3 months or 3,600 miles already everithing works super smooth never feels underpower at all i just drove from Las Vegas to San Francisco and that’s correct the hood shakes after 70 miles speed not to bad but i’ll tell u this i double check a couple times if the hood loose and not was pretty good in place so after that i stop thinking about that that was a long trip around 9 hours i think can be a little scary the first 2 hours driving but at the end was a good test for the hood after that trip i love more my new Outlander and i hope mitsubishi fix that little problem in the very near future …

Broken media screen
I have a new 2022 Outlander and it’s probably the best new suv I have driven. I drive many new suvs with my work. Love the Outlander but my media screen stopped working after two weeks of buying my Outlander. And I am waiting for a new screen under warranty. It has to come from Japan. Mitsubishi can’t tell me when a new one will arrive. This broken screen could be an issue. Mine is not the only one at the dealership with this fault. Apart from this the car is very good.

Great SUV for the money!
I bought the 2022 SEL Special Edition all wheel drive and it has a great ride, great Creature Comforts in the cabin, and a large 9-in screen. I previously owned a 2019 SEL Mitsubishi Outlander and this is far superior to the 2019. I have heard and read about the jumping of the hood and it does somewhat. I would expect Mitsubishi to correct this. I have read nothing about there being accidents caused from the hood becoming detached causing a wreck. There are too many positives to not buy this vehicle for the money.
