Great Reliable Car

I own a 2016 outlander sport SEL with the 2.4L engine. I purchased the car used with 18k miles. It now has 152,000 miles. I did the required trans fluid changes at 40,000 mile intervals at the dealer and recommended. I have done regular oil changes, swapped out a serpentine belt and plugs at 110k miles. The car has been excellent. Still gets an impressive 28mpg on the highway and 24ish around town. It goes up a bit in winter when it is cooler since I live in FL it does impact economy. I would say closer to 25/29 in winter. The car has its quirks. There is a mystery battery drain so I have gone though about 3 batteries in the last 5 years. But in FL they only last 2-3 anyway with the extreme heat. Under warranty its a hassle and not really about money. The batteries are pro-rated. I seem to have it under control now. I just pay attention and throw the car on the charger to fill up the battery every few months. Problem resolved. Other than it is smaller and a tad crampt on room the looks, reliability, leather interior etc. more than make up for a few minor short falls. I recommend the car as a reliable and value based vehicle.
