I have been a customer since1989. I currently own a sport outlander, I love it. I don't need super fast acceleration, it's kept me from making risky maneuvers. If a theft is attempted, the car just breaks down. I love the understated style (incognito). I reside in Downtown Detroit and the car insurance rate is bearable. It safely gets me from point A toZ. Service from dealership is very good. Can't beat the warranty. A satisfied customer.

Coming home from work and can transmission started to slip, then just would not move. Had it towed to shop and it needs a new transmission. Would not recommend due to issues with CTV transmission

waited to write a review had it for almost 4 years and still on original tires and brake pads. Drives better than my X3 and unlike my old bmw isnt in the shop all the time in fact never, just oil changes. Great car, hauls ass with 2.4, love the gate shifter, dont use the paddle shifters, this car handles curves like a dream with the sel package wheels and gate shifter. Cons: XM radio cuts out by power lines not sure why, took it dealer yep cuts out by power lines sorry. Rough ride, but guess what thats why it handles well, get a gmc terrain if you want a cushy ride but fell like your going to roll at every offramp. Girlfriend hates the CVT transmission, I love the CVT. I almost bought a honda hrv and glad i didnt, i have leather, xenon headlights, heated seats, and added mitsubishi roof racks for the ultimate suv. Great Great car, never understand the ratings, dont believe them.

Where do i even begin? This "gem" of a lemon was my first brand new car purchase and it has brought me through hell. Within thr first year of purchase - the glovebox wouldnt close properly. Starting in cold temperatures in the first year would be lagging. Alternator was replaced twice. From 2016-present i bought 4 batteries. Could not put car on (without engin running) for music for more than 10mins or the battery would be dead. oddly enough.. if you didnt change your tires at the mitsubishi, you would have to go regardless because they were the only ones to shut off the "tire service required". Despite chucking my money down the drain for a Diamond Kote for anti rusting - best believe that P O S rusted. Left for a week vacation and i nobody drove the car for that full 7 days. As soon as i turned it on i had all the bells and whistles that would light up on the dash. Brakes had seized, engin would stall etc.. Dealership took it for 2 weeks and apparently it was just the alternator. Would have to change brakes, rotters (front and back) on a yearly basis. Change barrings every 2 years. Mechanic said brakes were too small for the vehicle. Only thing that i have to say that is at best ok is - its not so bad in bad weather (snow/rain) and ok on gas. If you're ok with a fixer upper, loud drive and frequently changing your battery/brakes on yearly basis - look no further.
