Best Ride
The Suv Feels like a powerful sports car. First time I stepped on the gas pedal I was pushed back in my seat. I was very amazed about the handeling, haveing much more a sedan feel than a lumbering SUV. It is nice to see Sport put back in the SUV.
Nice drive
Nice car and reliable, roomy, great for long trips. Bought car in August of 2003 and have had no major problems. However had to have the brakes replaced twice and having problems with the service engine light censor. Early in ownership had to have steering column replaced, failed during driving.

WHAT AN AMAZING VECHICLE
THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST POPULAR SUV OUT. NOT ONLY DOES IT HAVE THE BEST RIDE I HAVE EVER TAKEN IN AN SUV BUT IT ALSO GETS GOOD GAS MILAGES. PLUS THERE IS NO OTHER SUV OUT THERE THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS ONE. AWESOME VECHICLE AT A GREAT PRICE.
135,000 miles and LOVE this car!
This car is the best I've ever owned and would definitely buy another Endeavor. Excellent reliability, great to drive, OK mileage. I smile every time I get into this car.
I'm Happy
I am very excited about this vehicle. You get the comfort of a car with the option of an SUV.
just picked up
mitsu has a big hit on their hands ride is very smooth, handling is very good. sun roof is huge. seating is excellent. i looked at a gmc envoy. but 11 recalls just turned me off.
Love At First Sight
We test drove 3 diferent vehicles, and when got in the Edeavor. I was like Love At First Sight. The comfort, style was just taking us away. Spent the day with relatives and everybody just could'nt get this vehicle out of thier sight.
Converted!
The dealer had to really talk me into even test-driving the Endeavor. Once I did, I was SOLD! It has all the advantages of an SUV yet drives like a car. It's loaded with conveniences that are not essential to driving, but just make car ownership easier. The only drawback is that premium fuel is required.
Superior Endeavor
I traded in my Montero Sport for an Endeavor, and I love it. Mitsubishi actually took a lot of the popular features from several different SUVs on the market and combined them into one great vehicle. Would definitely suggest this to those who drive long distances. This comfortable ride has a great sound system, 4 power outlets, and plently of front cabin cargo area. A wonderful value for the money.
wow!
I have been extremely impressed with what this all-new SUV had to offer! From the Infinity sound system to the comfortable seats not to mention the muscle under the hood! This is truly a winner once the public gives it a chance!!!
Fantastic SUV
Smooth ride, strong v6, great styling, and solidly built. After much research, selecting this SUV has proven to be the right choice. Highly recommended.
An Attention Grabber
I like the look of my 2004 Endeavor XLS. It has more head and leg room than my 2001 Montero Sport. It handles well on the highway and in the rain. The only thing that I miss that I do not have is the birds-eye view I had with my Montero Sport. I wish that they would add a little more height to it.
I love it!
My husband and I bought the Endeavor less than a week ago and we love it. We test drove a couple other SUVs, one being the Pilot and we kept going back to the Endeavor. The ride is nice, the interior is roomy, and Mitsubishi gave us a great deal. We also own a '93 Mits. Galant with 164,000 miles and still going strong. We're expecting the Endeavor to do the same.
Got One
It's the most comfortable SUV we have driven.
WOW What a great SUV
The Endeavor is a great ride. So smooth it doen't feel like you're driving a SUV. Plus lots of features and comfort too.
Great SUV
I've had my Endeavor Limited AWD for about 2.5 months and I love it! It's very quick for a 2+ ton SUV with a V6. I've had no problems taking on the occasional full size V8 powered pickup trucks at stop lights, and most cars for that matter! The SportTronic transmission is fun to use, but just letting the automatic do it's job is just as effective. I'll have to wait until I drive it in a Chicago winter to make up my mind on the AWD.
Endeavor Nitch
If you are willing to sacrifice a hi towing capacity and rock breaking off road ability in exchange for more comfort and better handling, the All Wheel drive Endeavor is worth considering. For 99 % of our driving this is a great SUV, and for 90% of the remaining 1%, this vehicle will handle our off road needs. We can only hope for the great Japanese tradition of reliability.
I am IN!!!!!!!!
The search for a good CAR/SUV has come to an end. What a frustration those other guys give. When the features are there the price is high, when the price is low the features are gone. This has it all.
One Nice SUV
I never really considered a Mitsubishi product until I saw their TV advertisement. I had looked closely at the Highlander and Pilot, but really liked the "curb appeal" of the Endeavor. It is great to drive with great acceleration and smooth shifts. The SportTrak is a nice feature for the manual drive wannabees. Great stereo system....look forward to tailgating in it.
Great SUV!
Went from a 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 to the Endeavor. Handling and ride are fantastic. Had to get LTD in order to get rear A/C - but certainly am enjoying the luxuries that it provides! Love all the looks that I get from other drivers!
Best Value, more than 6mo's of research
I've researched the possibility of buying an suv for over six months. When I saw the commercial for the endeavor in Feb. I wasn't too excited but I added it to my list of possibilities anyway. I'm glad I did. The Vue, Trailblazer, Envoy, Rendevous, Explorer, Bravada, Pilot, Highlander and Mountaineer cannot hold a candle to this vehicle. The closest was the Morano. The Endeavor won due to more passenger leg room, cargo room and lower insurance rates. The ride is soooo smooth and quiet. It rides nothing like a truck. Those the test rode the Explorer Envoy and Trailblazer will notice the differece. Get the Endeavor.
Endeavor solid as a rock!
We've had it about 4 weeks now, and like it more than when we bought it. Rides great, more than adequate power, plenty of head, leg, hip, and shoulder room. Nicely equipped for an entry level model. This being a car-based SUV rather than a truck-based model, it rides better than most truck-based SUVs. Corners more like a small sedan, despite being significantly taller than most. Styling, especially exterior styling, is great. These vehicles tend to stand out a litle from the crowd, and at least for the time being, you don't see yourself coming every time you get on the street, as you would in an Explorer.
Best SUV out there
When I traded in my '02 Galant, I purchased the '04 Endeavor in Sept '04 and it is great. My routine maintenance was covered for the first 3 years which saved me thousands because the 36,000 mile service was covered (a $500 service). The only problem I had is that the windshield washer fluid pump went out but it only cost $50 and took 20 minutes to fix. That has been my only "complaint" in almost 4 years and 55,000 miles. I have taken at least 15-20 road trips and never had a single problem!!! I think I made a wise investment in purchasing this vehicle new. I definitely recommend this vehicle. As having owned the Galant, they drive the same. Good job Mitsubishi.
2004 Endeavor AWD LS
I think it is probably the most comfortable and roomy mid-size SUV out there. Compared to other models, I think you really get a lot for the money. The engine really has a lot of pick up for the size of the vehicle, and my husband tows his 17' bass fishing boat with it - and there is virtually no effect on the ride. I have owned it over 3 years and love it.
Love my Endeavor
I purchased my Endeavor used 3 years ago and have absolutely loved it everyday since. The seats are very roomy which makes for a comfortable ride on long trips. The cargo area is incredibly spacious. The only thing that I could see Mitsubishi doing to improve the car is adding a third row seat. But, for me, it works perfect as is. The gas mileage is about what a person should expect for a vehicle this size (I avg. 18, but have gotten 23) and is comparable to what my friends get in their Escapes, Pilots, and Muranos. The manual says it likes >91 octane fuel, but I run 90 octane (which is the cheap stuff in Nebraska) ethanol and it performs great. It is a little sluggish with 89 octane.
GREAT CAR
We had over 200,000 and was a great car until our transmission went out.. We loved it............

2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Still Going Strong
***Update: About 2000 miles after I wrote this, the back passenger wheel collapsed due to rusted subframe. I literally drove it until the wheels fell off! I do not regret having this car and was sad after its demise. I got 13+ good years out of it!*** I bought this car in 2005 with 26,000 miles on it. It is now 2018, and I've just rolled over 188,000 miles. This is still my primary vehicle, but I am considering a new car, although I don't know that I will ever find another I like as well. It still runs well and is still fun to drive with plenty of pep. We have had no engine or transmission issues. On the whole, this has been an amazing car. The AWD has been great in snow and icy conditions. We replaced a timing belt at around 100,000 as part of general maintenance. Had the a/c problem with water pouring into the front floorboards around. Fixed at dealership. Had another issue with heating and cooling in 2013, required two trips to the dealership to fix. Now, in 2018, my mechanic thinks it needs a compressor because the a/c starts blowing hot air when you drive above 55 or 60 mph/get above 2500 rpm. Works great at speeds less than that, or while idling. The paint is starting to look terrible, and the headlight covers have yellowed and seem cloudy, making the lights not as good as they once were. We have replaced motors in two windows, and wheel bearings three times. Calipers have to be replaced every few years, and we have replaced rotors three times. Currently need to replace passenger side door lock bc it will no longer automatically lock and unlock, but it can be locked manually. I still really like to drive this vehicle, but it is looking bad on the outside and I need more seating for my family. That, combined with my current a/c issue and the appeal of better gas mileage and being able to buy regular instead of premium gas, is why I am considering a different vehicle. We will keep this one, though, as a spare, and also because I don't want to part with it!

Endeavor
Powerfull, beatifull, Big and solid, I am a Mitsubishi user but that is not a mitsubishi car but look very weld.
My last Mitsubishi
I loved it at first. But took it in for several problems. Front strut was collapsed (covered under ext. warranty), inter. exhaust pipe baffles broken (part $1,400, labor $200), rear liftgate rattles terribly, visor mirror broke, handle fell off sunroof visor, console lid broke and much more. This vehicle has only 45,000 miles. What a piece of junk. I have to pay for exhaust repairs. I have always owned Mitsubishis but this will be my last.
2004 Endeavor
I wanted a SUV but wanted something that sticks out as unique. I went to the dealership to buy an Outlander, but once my kids and I test drove the Endeavor we all fell in love with it , it drives like a dream, it is so quiet and very roomy, it has been a wonderful car so far.......
great car
I have looked at all the midsized SUVs for the last year, and the Endever is the best!
